Good Hotel.nice view. The beach has white sand and the outdoor pool is ok. Buffet breakfast is ok...the only drawback is the wifi does not work in the dining area- i believe it's done intentionally though wifi works around the reception area.

Such great service

We came here for our 20th Anniversary. The Keramas are amazing and this is the most secluded beach you may ever get. The hotel is a little dated and the food is traditional Okinawan. We had the best time. The staff treated us like royalty. They were exceptionally kind. We went snorkeling in the beach outside the hotel and saw more turtles than we have ever seen. At least 7 of them. The water was amazing. The staff also allowed us to check in early and leave late. You will not go wrong staying here.

Pension Sea Friend

The beach is fantastic, the "hotel" is just a place to stay and enjoy this paradise

Reviewed By lubokujira

I would not say that the hotel is truly a "hotel" more like a hostel of a sort. Very basic, somewhat clean, and located conveniently about 50m from the beach. The breakfast could have been a bit better. It was annoying to have been kicked out at 9 am precisely by the staff. Make sure you check out by 10 am, even though the ferry is not until 4.00 or 4.30 pm, because you will be charged 2,500 yen for overstaying. That is rather annoying, because when we arrived was 11 am, and had to stay around with our luggage until 2 or 3 pm to check in, then on the way out, we had the same experience. Mercifully, the hotel lets you leave at your own risk the luggage at the counter room. There is a nice bar that is worth checking out, called something like One and ½ Half or like that. Very authentic, check it out. If you are lucky, you will get some craft beer too. We were not so lucky and had to resort to the ordinary Orion draft - a dreadful drink, reminiscent to Budwiser.

No bueno

Reviewed By chipie802019

False advertising. The hotel is overpriced. What you get for $200 you should get for $60. The owner and manager need a wake up call. There is no private bathroom. The bathtubs are outside in their "restaurant". It needs to be cleaned and refurbished. The rooms are right next to one another, too. For less price you can get significantly better just around the corner. Then once you get there they try to sell you on their "blue suites" in another location for only $800 more. SMH. Stay away.

Resort Hotel Kume Island

Comfortable but old building

Reviewed By thelonious22

Resort Hotel Kume Island was a huge complex that can probably House 10% of the island population. It felt almost abandoned while we stayed. While the resort grounds were kept well, the interior probably has not been renovated since the 80’s. The stale cigarette stench filled the hallways and while everything was functioning, the room was in a desperate need of some renovation. Puddles on the balcony never drained making it impossible to hang out on it. Luckily the beds were at least comfortable and the room was spacious enough for three. The pool looked great but it just never got warm enough for us to enjoy it. Worst part was the thin walls that didn’t stuff out any noise from the outside. Even with less than 10% occupancy, noise was an issue when kids from a floor below were being loud. Breakfast spread was good with lot of healthy options and local Okinawa dishes. The airport bus route stopping at the entrance was also a nice convenience.

Kerama Terrace

Kerama Terrace is a small hotel amid the emerald-blue ocean. Our hotel interior decor features chic wood-tones with hues of ocean blue. Deep consolation lies here for you, as if quietly floating on a small boat. A total of 7 guest rooms, a privacy-conscious hotel only for adults.

Our First stay on Kerama Island

Reviewed By silviasR2339SE

Our trip from Okinawa to Kerama Island was beautiful. We took our own car so upon arriving we were able to take off and explore the island. Unfortunately on the first day we arrived it was raining and over cast. Once at the hotel they met us with refreshments and walked us through every amenity at the hotel and in our room. Beautiful lay out of the room. Shower looks into the room, kind of weird but easily over looked. Breakfast and dinner is scheduled around your time. Pick a time for breakfast and dinner and show up. Gorgeous presentation! They have local restaurant for a mid day snack or meal. Everything is reasonably priced. Laundry service is on site for the loner stays, and a scuba instructor with transportation from the hotel to boat dock. They have huge selection of movies to borrow and everything is in walking distance. I was absolutely impressed and blown away by the hospitality and location of the hotel. Kerama Terrace was a perfect little get away.

Amazing burger!

Reviewed By stu2610

Visited here for a meal whilst exploring Zamami. Pizzas and burger were on the menu and the burger blew my expectations completely. It wasn’t just good for a tiny island where I assumed getting non traditional ingredients would have decreased the quality a little but it was good for any burger place in the world. So if you’ve had your fill of traditional Okinawa dishes I couldn’t recommend eating here any more

Best Hosts, Best Location

Reviewed By gstays88

We booked this place last minute and what a great place it turned out to be. The hosts were absolutely wonderful people, they made our stay truly memorable . The place its self is in such a great location just a minute walk to a beautiful beach. The room was basic but very comfortable, the food they served was excellent. We actually got stuck there for an extra night due to high seas but were more than happy to do so. Don't bother looking for other places to stay ! Stay here , you wont be sorry!
