Cava Colchagua is a "unique" in style themed hotel whose rooms are barrels that once stored 45,000 liters of wine, have air conditioning, cable TC, minibar, closet, private bathroom, window and safe. Other facilities include a swimming pool, parking, wiffi, its own park with pond. In the SPA you can enjoy massages and baths in wooden tubs, surrounded by his grape arbors. The rate includes a varied buffet breakfast and a welcome drinks table Ravanal. Among the activities that can be done on site include hiking, biking, fishing, tours to manage their vineyards. Located just 3 km from the main square of Santa Cruz, museum and casino hotel. It is located 1km from the Estampa and Laura Hartwig and 1 km from the beautiful wine restaurants, Colchagua House, Deep Blue and Black Label. The Colchagua bus station is a 20 minute walk.
What an ideal place to stay in wine country!
Reviewed By Jonathan SI was a little apprehensive about staying here ... was concerned about whether they could really put a room in a wine barrel. I am SO glad that I listened! First of all, YES - the rooms are legitimate size! You'll need to be creative as to where you store your luggage if you are on an extended trip like we were but after a few minutes of planning, we were able to get everything stored away with no problem. That was the ONLY issue we had. The rest of our four-day visit was wonderful! The beds offered a comfortable sleep, the bathroom was sizable with a huge walk-in shower (and the bathroom's subterrainean nature was a perfect cool place to store the wine we bought). Breakfast each morning was tasty, had a nice mix of local items and traditional breakfast buffet (and they made things on request if it was missing). The staff was excellent, both before our trip and while we were there, even arranging a driver, setting up winery visits on our requests and arranging all of our lunch and dinner reservations for us. The grounds were phenomenal with their own vineyards in full bloom and while we didn't have time to take advantage of them, the jacuzzis and massage area in the vineyard were as unique as possible! We would DEFINITELY stay here again and am recommending the hotel for a group I know going there in 2021! See you next time!

We also offer a professional bar where you can do tastings of all the great wines of Colchagua and finally stroll through our new little museum that tells the story of Chile through old maps s and pictures. (The Museum will be open from May 2018).

Reviewed By Z5886DBpeterhWe spent three nights at the Hotel Terravina which is located in the middle of a vineyard two miles outside Santa Cruz. The hotel is designed on classic historic Chilean style with good sized rooms and wonderful views over the vineyard to the mountains beyond with great sunsets ! Our most outstanding feature was the incredible attention of the staff who could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has its own restaurant with a great menu and of course selection of wines. Unheated swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Unusual but fun place
Reviewed By BigSur707An unusual property: sprawling across several colonial style buildings, with lush gardens and a pool, plus access to an excellent museum next door, plus access to a casino, plus two restaurants, plus a bar, all situated in the middle of Santa Cruz right on the town square. All a bit quixotic but has an odd charm to it and we enjoyed our stay. Can get a bit busy. Appears to be a popular place for families, so can get noisy around the pool for example. Good restaurant for dinner. The room was in average condition and felt a bit tired. The bathroom was tiny. Valet parking on site which was complimentary. Reasonably priced.

Reviewed By Emily HWonderful stay at Hotel Vendimia Parador -- the room, hotel, and especially garden were all a paradise and Mauricio and Ines were fantastic hosts who left us wanting for nothing. After several weeks traveling from Patagonia to Santiago this was probably our favorite place we stayed -- wished I could have stayed longer but already planning a trip back :)

Excellent boutique hotel in a great location

It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location lovely rooms and very clean with great AC and a fine breakfast with lovely staff. I found the hotel very friendly and warm. Oriana the hotel manager really looked after me and arranged my winery visits itinerary over the 5 days which was very helpful. I tasted some great wines in Colchagua Valley I was very surprised with the Chilean ICON wine quality. I recommend Bella Vista; you won’t find a better hotel in the area with that personal service. Roadtrip Chile - Perfect Spot
Reviewed By robertos535Before I went here I didn’t know about the existence of this hotel nor Pichelemu itself. I can be short on this recommendation: what a great location (views, seaside etc.) and what a superb hotel. When visiting I recommend to take some surflessons (one of their “experiences”) Teacher Nicholas is a great person and gives good lessons/takes a lot of time/care. Will be back soon.

We were shown a beautiful, spacious, sleek, clean, well-appointed room and snapped it up immediately. We decided to stay an extra night, and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The hotel is in the town center, within walking distance of many good restaurants. The breakfast was varied, fresh, delicious, and the staff super helpful and friendly.

The rooms were spacious, the beds were huge, and the service was great. The hotel was quiet and conveniently located. The included breakfast was a nice plus too!
