Reviewed By Sherpa64675235446We stopped here on a journey from the Alps to Northern England. There were four of us (1 x 1 year old and 1 x 2.5 year old). The hotel was perfect. A large family room with everything we needed including a kitchen! This was perfect for a small family. I choose the hotel because it also had an electric car charging point which we used overnight. There is also a large bank of super fast chargers not far away in town if required. We will stay again.

Lucky to stay here
Reviewed By EwaldolalaHalf way to our final holiday destination we decided to spend one night in Müllheim. We checked a few hotels in the city center and luckily they were all booked full. So we ended up just outside the center (7 min walk) in this very nice and seemingly brand new hotel. Very friendly hosts and spacious, quiet and clean rooms. Breakfast was a treat too with a personal touch. An ideal location to stay for a longer period if you want to hike or bike in the area. We were so lucky the other hotels were fully booked. They seemed more “have been” locations. This stay I enjoyed and will certainly revisit next time I go to Italy by car.

Large window on one side of the room wall to ceiling with only a net curtain to cover it so no shield from prying eyes or when the lights from passing cars and the hotel car park in the middle of the night. Shower and toilet screened by a sliding glass door so no real privacy when doing the toilet. Shower was great. Plenty of towels which were renewed daily. The breakfast was continental and plentiful. Had a meal in the hotel one night. Staff were very helpful as we couldn't read the menu. Food was delicious. Would stay there again.

Resting for a Cruise
Reviewed By TEDUSAWe arrived to rest up for a few days before a cruise from Basel. This place is fairly remote, extremely quiet and very scenic. The rooms are very clean, there is a hot water kettle, tea and coffee in the room, a full line of amenities in the bath. The grounds are immaculate- there is a quiet automower frequently trimming. There are fruit trees on site and while we were there the cherry tree had ripe cherries which we were encouraged to pick. Breakfasts were typically german, cold cuts, a variety of rolls, cheeses, spreads and softboiled eggs on request. The area has a number of outstanding hikes, ranging from 45 minutes to 4 hours and the owner is happy to tell tou about them and offer maps. One bit of advice-- if you are there when the restaurant is closed, get reservations at the Hotel Ochsen early-- for a tiny town, the restaurant brings in people from miles- it's that good.

Reviewed By hanschristiang2017Müllheim is my hometown. Whenever I want to invite friends to a nice meal in my town I bring them here. The ambience is very cosy, staff is kind and efficient. They have a reasonably large menu for every taste. Game is a particular attraction. Prices are moderate. Really good value for money.

Excellent value for money in picture-post card pedestrianised centre, but with convenient parking. Charming French manageress, good dinner, nice breakfast, simple but sparkling clean (lots of period 50s furniture and fittings). Excellent for tired travellers.

On the way to Mainz
Reviewed By francesca pi had a one-night stop in this gasthaus and it was very confortable staying there: the rooms aren't vey large, but they are nice and coloured. The place is very silent. In the morning, even if we were the only guests, a full and rich breaakfast was served. It's a perfect place to stop to go visiting Friburg.

An Easy Stopover Option, Good Restaurant
Reviewed By little_ostowThe B&B/Restaurant is chosen because it is conveniently located close to Mullhouse in France, extra bonus for its proximity to a well stocked supermarket (Edeka) and a petrol station. Booking can be made by contacting the hotel directly via email! The host was very welcoming and pleasant but check-in was a little tricky since the restaurant wasn't opened at time of my arrival, I had to go around to the back to find someone to let me in. My room is located directly above the restaurant, it was warm, clean, and spacious. The king size bed is made up of two firm single mattress, two soft 80x80cm pillows, two small bedside tables and reading lamps, a small table, two small bottles of complimentary water, a single sofa bed/chair, a huge wardrobe, and a TV. The bedroom window overlook a large terrace/balcony, the room was very quiet with the window closed. One of the beddings was full of pills which I had to turn it inside out for smoothness and comfort. It is unfortunate as it seems a lot of smaller German accommodations are obsessed with using these jersey style (ie. t-shirt material) fitted sheets, these sheets pill easily and when that happens, they are very uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom is huge with a walk-in shower, a heated towel railing, toiletries, good lightings, and plenty of storage. The bathroom looked clean but has an unfortunate funky smell. There is a common room on the first floor for hotel guests, it has a seating area with a pay as you go self-service bar. The restaurant seemed popular with the locals, both service and food were very good, so was the breakfast! I would consider staying here again.

Wir haben für 4 Nächte das Studio bezogen. Es ist alles da was man so braucht. Voll ausgestattete Küche mit Spülmaschine. Auch Spül- und Küchentücher sind vorhanden. Im Bad liegen eine ausreichende Anzahl an Handtüchern. Alles ist sehr sauber. Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden.
