Reviewed By JenniferC8295Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a connecting room for our daughter. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant. Everyone was friendly. Great parking and good location near shops. It was a perfect place for us to stop for a night after taking the ferry on route to Berlin.

The apartment we had was very comfortable, clean and for those who are fussy about sleeping, a range of pillows are available with a pillow menu. One can also enjoy unobstructed sea-views, from the balcony, the comfort of your room, or while enjoying an excellent breakfast. The staff is very well trained, and professional, they also took care of our little one. The room was also equipped with small things for children that make the little ones feel happy and welcome. For those who want to chill out, a large indoor pool, gym and sauna are available. I will definitely be visiting this hotel again.

The towels were dirty, the check in was bad due to too many guests (about 15 people in the queue), the food at the Italian restaurants came after 1,5 hours (but it was delicious!) and the breakfast buffet was too busy. The rooms were big and the wellness area very comfortable.

Reviewed By Jet502048Great hotel with nice staff and location but very unfriendly GM Carsten Willenbockel who approached us asking for our hotel credentials when coming back from the beach promenade. Our laid back style did not seem to meet this gentleman's (high) standards. Extremely rude, definitely not the kind of behavior one expects from the management of such a hotel. We will not be back.....

Reviewed By koneserka11Delighted with the time I spent in Kurhaus Binz last year, we decided to come back for a few days` stay. We were very happy to see that the difficult times (COVID – 19) did not influence the standards executed in the hotel. – Our room was exactly as beautiful as the one where we had been put up last year. Again, it represented both style and comfort, it was immaculately clean, with beautiful bed linen that was so white and wrinkless that everybody would love to have it at home. This time in the room - we were also offered free soft drinks which included mineral water – replenished every day. Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant and was as delicious as last year. – With various kinds of fruit, my favourite Bircher muesli and a wide choice of smoked fish, sausage and eggs, to which one could help themselves – clearly wearing a facial mask. Another thing that had not changed was the fact that in spite of the size of the hotel, one didn`t really get to meet any other people unless they want to. It was only in the hotel restaurant that we noticed that there were other holidaymakers staying at the hotel, too. – This was quite important in the COVID times… Speaking about other security measures in the hotel, there were disinfections liquids at each of the entrances and the guests were obliged to wear facial masks in public areas of the hotel, excluding restaurant tables. – This obligation was tactfully executed. – Staff wore the masks, too. – All this made us feel a little bit more secure and confirmed that things could get back to what they had used to be.

Ikea style Hotel, not worth the money
Reviewed By alexbQ1693SIHotel rooms are equipped with basics, but no essentials to relax or take a break from a busy life! No fridge/bar, no chairs, just a wooden kitchen chair and a small ottoman. No coffeemaker etc., no balcony furniture. Curtains to small and didn’t cover the windows. Only good, the bath area with the walk-in shower, although the warm water didn’t work properly at 8am morning’s. Very noisy and sometimes loud, walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors talking. Staff is mostly not professional, not friendly, slow and overwhelmed with most basic task. Forget the Restaurant/ Café, 5 staff members standing around and no service. If you bring yourself to their attention, you receive rolling eyes. Overall, a waste of money, we will never return to any of the “Aja” group hotels. What should have been a nice little vacation has been ruined by the hotel and the experience we had. Shame on you for your failing hospitality!

Reviewed By simontV2564FHRoom horrible, ground floor streetside. I have never had such thin loo paper and tissues. Room 94 next to staff room so no sleep after 6:30 or 7. Staff have a sliding door cupboad which they love to slide. Also noise during the night, be it the room above or staff room. Breakfast a disaster, only some smoked salmoln but no other fish except red herring salad. No choice menu for specials such as fried egg or omlett. For dinner, I do like veg "al dente" but not raw! For a good steak, go to "Sorgenfrei", not here. I know everyone has staff problems but at least they should speak English or German. The head people in service are good but the rest are useless. Swimming pool is good but where is the gym?

Reviewed By Philippe RNice Room, good location at the train station. The city ticket, common to most Intercity Hotels allow you to go to the old city center and/or to Warnemünde for free, which is great. I will stay there again when in Rostock.
