Plan to request romantic dinner as usual, but change our mind when realized that we could enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunset in one place. So we ask hotel staffs to arrange romantic breakfast at the top of the small hill, behind the resort. The result is far beyond our expectation. All staffs are very kind and helpful. Food are great, try the black pepper tuna steak! Recommended for honeymooners or those seeking for tranquility and quiet surroundings. Everywhere you look around, you will see always n only beautiful scenes those refresh your eyes n mind. I really enjoy staying there, having some quite time walking on the beach in the morning and during sunset. Love the place a lot. I will for sure be back again there on my next visit to Maumere. Until next time!

Reviewed By Olga CWe spent 3 nights in Sudamala Resort Labuan Bajo and our experience was splendid. The staffs were very friendly, the rooms were spacious, neat and clean. Our rooms were facing the garden and seeing it was a very pleasant view by itself. I had a couple of memorable experiences and I truly appreciated the management and staffs for being helpful. First, in the early morning of our island-hopping day, our driver (from a trip planner which we booked) was unreachable. The manager in-duty and the receptionist saw us panicking (noted that the lobby started to be packed as other families leaving as well). We suddenly thought if we could order the hotel's car for sending us to the harbour. Without even troubling us much in advance, they immediately called up Sudamala's own driver and less than 10mins, the car was ready. We went to the harbour in a blink. Our trip was saved! Second, this is a minor but I appreciated the effort. So, I really liked the amenities being given, esp. the liquid bath soap - it smells nice! Thus, when we checked out, I asked them what soap it is. Mbak Mayo and the team immediately called up to check what local brand it is. They updated me once I landed in Jakarta. If I may add two things that can leverage the experiences are: the variety of breakfast menu; it'd be great if we can see different menus everyday or shift days. Then, look after and beautify the beach behind the pool area - It would be great to enjoy a cleaner beach and play there. Overall, truly love the entire service provided, to me and my family, thank you for the great hospitality - we were all happy and satisified. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay in this hotel again once I get a chance to come back.

Reviewed By Jon SThe Padadita is a great hotel. There is no beach but the infinity pool is amazing and the whole pool area is a perfect place to relax. It's well designed to accomodate kids and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The WiFi, AC and hot water work great too! The food is tasty and the portions are both reasonably priced and large! We loved it and I was surprised to find such a nice and reasonably priced hotel on Sumba. It's a perfect place to take day trips around East Sumba from.

Reviewed By olipriceLe Pirate Island in Bajo was one of the highlights of our 2 month motorbike tour across Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores. It was the perfect romantic getaway to relax and enjoy a quiet time. (Note - this is during corona times). The bungalows on legs are nicely designed and a little different. We woke up looking out over the sea. Jo of the staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was great and varied - although ask for your tuna rare. The house reef is still fairly healthy and we saw turtles and plenty of fish snorkeling. Sadly there were locals spearfishing on it at night, which is an unfortunate side effect of Corona. There were also turtles nesting and the staff are doing their best to make sure they all get to the sea.

Although you have a booking confirmation for the Sylvia Hotel they keep giving you a room in Sylvia budget hotel. This is different building, different counter checkin and different facility. Reviewed By margaux bOur experience was far beyond our expectations. The accommodations are really amazing (we had the ocean front and then the ocean pool villa). Staff is very friendly, always smiling and always available to make your stay very pleasant. The butler service is far beyond amazing, we had the chance to have Feri and he definitively makes our stay unforgettable ! Food as well is delicious ! Just one comment, to bad that there is no option for sharing a boat for expeditions to Komodo for the day but easily manageable with external agencies in Labuan Bajo (hotel was very helpful to help us on this).
