Reviewed By alberteriI have to congratulate the owners for building this new apartment hotel. Perfect for longer stays with the built in kitchenette, spacious bathrooms and big living space. Everything is picked out with great style, very tasteful integrating the Black Forest heritage in the decor. The breakfast was delicious also in a very stylish setting. The owners and the staff are very nice and helpful with your request. Still crispy fresh and definitely my go to place from now on in Bühl. Loved it! Highly recommended++++

The hotel is great for groups or doing seminars, but also for travelers on Autobahn 5 or B3 who are looking for a place to rest. The rooms are spacious, a hall, a large bathroom and a very large bedroom with a king size bed, a desk (with pen/paper/telephone) and two chairs. The huge bed offers a great and comfy mattress. We very much enjoyed the breakfast. They have quite an outstanding selection including salmon and smoked trout, nice bakeries, fresh bread, scrambled eggs/bacon/sausages. Everything was fresh and/or home made. What I also liked a lot those funny old gadgets as decorations like an old typing machine and a huge old timer camera which provide a cozy touch for the hotel. This was our third stay within the last couple of years. Each time we were a group of 7-10 people, using the excellent conference rooms which are well equipped. The internet connection was very good, which was important for our video conferences. This time I forgot my laptop when I left. The owner, Renate Haag, realized this about an hour after I left. She gave me a call and told me she was already in the car following me together with her son. We met at Kandel about 45 min. away from the hotel and they returned the laptop to me – what an outstanding service!

Enjoy a bike tour along the German-French bike trail with a distance of 56 kilometers through the bordering Alsace in France, the northern Black Forest and along the numerous beautiful and historic wine villages of the region. You can visit a lot of places of excursion in less than one hour by car. Looking forward for the cultural city Baden-Baden, the European city Strassburg or the Blck Forest Metro pole Freiburg. The monastery Maria Hilf provides for its guests 2 gorgeous churches, free parking space, a generous park in the courtyard, 9 meeting rooms, 1 dining hall and 77 simple but friendly guestrooms - partial equipped with shower/toilet.

Reviewed By geertb423We stayed in Kloster Maria Hilf on our way from Holland to Switserland. Buhl is conveniently located close but not too close to the A5 Karlsruhe-Basel. The city center is just a 7 minute walk. We had a room with private bathroom in the Anna Building. Both the room and bathroom were rather small but large enough for our purpose. The matras was a bit soft. It is a short walk to the reception were coffee and other drinks are available. Annex to the reception is the large breakfast area. The breakfast was OK with everything needed although mostly of moderate quality. Given the price this an excellent stay over place.

Extraordinary place but some irritating flaws

Full of atmosphere, lovely terrace (except with huge wasp problem during the summer), local wine production, greta walking around about. Rooms comfortable although on the small size, reasonably well equipped for a hotel of this grade. very good kitchen with interesting food at not-unreasonable prices. Friendly staff. Hopeless wifi, kept dropping out.

Reviewed By bobsmum123This lovely friendly hotel is in a beautiful spot. Food in the restaurant was delicious and breakfast superb. Parking on site. We had a room with a balcony and the view was lovely. Definately be back!

To recognise again hardly! The Badischer Hof has anew invented itself under the direction of Martin Foshag. By now #heimat im Badischen Hof is valid as one of the best addresses of the town – and also the hotel stands for cultivated hospitality, friendly service and perfect cleanness. Feel like at home and enjoy your time in Bühl!
Comfortable provincial hotel
Reviewed By John MClean, comfortable hotel located about 20 mins from Baden Baden. The room was a good size although the bathroom was quite small. This was one of the quietest hotels I have stayed at in spite of the town clock chimes. Breakfast was pleasant but there was not much choice and on the second morning I couldn’t get anyone to get me a coffee so left for the nearby cafe. This was the only disappointment in an otherwise comfortable stay.

A warm and friendly welcome in a stylish and beautifully revamped B&B
Reviewed By NmeertWe stayed at this B&B for one night with befriended couples and had a great time. As the nearby restaurant was closed the friendly owners Ursula (Ushi) and Rex did not hesitate to offer us a home-made delicious barbecue on their cosy terrace. We had such a good time with the others guests and the owners who joined us for dinner. The B&B walls are decorated with art work from Ursula, who paints. The rooms are revamped with great taste (lovely bathroom with good shower!) and great smelling cosmetic products from the Jean and Len brand. Thank you, Ursula and Rex, for making us feel at home instantly. We have such good memories of our stay with you. Strongly recommended!

Reviewed By Karen PUsual hotel fully booked then we found this gem. A bit out of town but close to motorway Ness Affentaler winery. Typical, silent (except for Sunday church bells) southern German village. We had a two bed apartment with living room and balcony..wunderbar! Chef patron turns out delicious (and ample) local specialties in a restaurant obviously well frequented by locals. Great breakfast. Plenty parking and a beautiful garden to chill on. Plenty places to go for a stroll. Another place to add to our go-to touring list
