The place looked deserted when we arrived and it turned out that the restaurant and bar were closed either for the season or for good. The receptionist did not speak English but we got by with the translation on the phone. Our room was a suite on the corner of the 1st floor. The first impression was nice but a closer look revealed that some update was needed. There was a broken lamp shade and damaged lock to the balcony door. Then it turned out that the water pressure was very low. We parked our car in the courtyard of the hotel. There was only space for 1 car and it was awkward to get in and out. Access was through a gate which was narrow and right in a street bend. The next morning we found that the shower over the bath tub was not working at all. The water was just squirting out through a broken seal. Neither bathtub nor shower could be used. A couple we spoke to on the floor above us had the same complaint! The breakfast was limited with few items to chose from but we got used to that travelling in this country. When we complained about our room, especially about the fact that we couldn't have a shower we were offered an apartment about 200 m away from the hotel. This was in a new building and we accepted the offer straight away. Parking was a problem though. We had to pay 1 lev to get through a barrier and then hope to find a space within the pedestrian area.

Reviewed By cat084Nice spot out of the main town, on road parking right outside the hotel, cute courtyard. It was very clean and had a nice, small balcony with a nice view. Good for an over night stop if you are in the area.

Reviewed By 695gailShould be rated more than a 2 star. Emilia who runs the hotel can not do enough for you. Breakfast was really good. Room was spacious. We spent a wonderful 2 nights there as is within easy reach of plovdiv which is a wonderful place to visit. Would very highly recommend.

We had room with balokney so our dogs could sleep outside. Breakfast and dinner at romantic terrasse with marvellous panoramic view over the mountains, even karaoke event at dinner time by the landlord who studied musics at university. Very quite location, surrounded only by trees and forest.... · last 200m very very bad road, unpaved with very deep holes - but go ahead, it's worth

Hotel-Restaurant "Rodopska house" is a lovely plave to rest and enjoy traditional bulgarian food. With a beautiful view from the rooms, free WIFI and parking and delicious food your amazing vacation is guaranteed!

Reviewed By X9576VBkarenmSuper hotel only 5 minutes from the airport. As we land late at night we try and stay here for the night before our onward journey. Can't always get in tho! Rooms are basic, but got air con, fresh towels, and tv. No tea or coffee making facilities but that's usual here. Friendly staff and great start to the holidays.

Reviewed By dasreiseteamWe didn't book it but were offered to stay there as our originally booked and paid room at the Old Times Hotel was not satisfactory. Apart from parking -which was a problem as it is in a restricted access area - the location was very good. The apartment was right in the heart of the city on the river with a nice view into the mountains. It had a spacious bedroom, living room, a small bathroom and a big balcony, unfortunately without furniture. Everything seemed to be fairly new however, the walls were paper thin. We heard every word from the apartment next door. Daily room service consisted of a towel change and emptying the bin. Because we don't know how much we would have paid for this place we can't say anything about value for money but apartment A 1 was really nice.

Reviewed By Kasia PSerdecznie polecam Hotel Color! Ja miałam okazje poznac go jedynie od strony rozrywkowej. Znajdziemy tu kręgle, bilard, konsole play station, rzutki itd. Bardzo przyjemna obsługa. Hotel składa sie z dwóch budynków. Po jednej stronie ulicy jest hala z atrakcjami wymienionymi powyżej a po drugiej natomiast jest właściwy hotel. Tam znajdziemy również przemiłe patio, gdzie mozna spokojnie wypić kawe, cos mocniejszego oraz zjesc pyszne dania. Ja osobiście jadłam smażony ser i sałatkę caprese. Pomidory nie smakują nigdzie tak dobrze jak w Bulagrii, także polecam! Miejsce jest swietnie przystosowane dla rodziców z dziećmi. Jest tam bowiem także plac zabaw z trampolina, gdzie zawsze jest mnóstwo dzieci. Polecam!
