Reviewed By Aria912390It was one of the best B&B we've ever stayed in! The house and the garden are stunning! It is a very quiet, relaxing place. The owners are very open and friendly. They know exactly how to find a perfect balance between providing their guests privacy, while in the same time give them the feeling of being taken care of. The room was quiet and extremely clean, all facilities were provided as in a high standard hotel. There was even a bar. Additionally, the common area was very useful, particularly when travelling with a 3-years old toddler. All was very practical in terms of logistics (parking not far from the room, the room on a groundfloor, easy accessible, breakfast room close, I appreciated insects protection in the window) and all seemed to be made just for a maximum guests' relax (private bank outside with a view on a wonderful garden with a friendly cat and sheeps walking in the orchard nearby). The breakfast was amazing with variety of delicious home-made or local products. The location was good - we were enjoying the nature reserve of Westhoek and the beach close to De Panne. We've visited also an open air museum in Alveringem. For kids - Beauvoorde Castle (with a funny painting exhibition that my toddler very much enjoyed) and De Zonnegloed animal park are nearby. There are also walking routes around the farm available in the B&B.

De rust van het platteland opsnuiven? Dat kan zeker bij hotel Hinterland in Izenberge, een dorpje pal in het hart van de Westhoek. Van het Bakkerijmuseum in Veurne, tot In Flanders Field Museum in Ieper en de IJzertoren in Diksmuide, alles ligt amper op een sprongetje van bij ons vandaan. Hotel Hinterland is ook de perfecte uitvalsbasis om onze 'Vlaamse velden' met zijn rijke oorlogsgeschiedenis te ontdekken. Je wordt door de weidse landschappen geloodst via prachtige routes van de fiets- en wandelknooppunten. Je eigen tweewieler kan je binnen plaatsen en je kan er, indien gewenst, ook eentje huren. Wij zullen er alles aan doen om Uw verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Tot binnenkort !

We stayed for 2 nights which was perfect for our drive to Brussels and back to the hotel the next day. The owner was charming and made us very welcome. We felt relaxed and safe. We took delicious dinners and breakfasts in the large dining room which has wonderful views of the terrace and surrounding fields. The lovely owner arranged picnic lunches for us so we had less to worry about. This pretty and tranquil hotel is set in beautiful countryside and we highly recommend it.

Aangenaam kader, nette kamers en super lekker ontbijt met verse producten. Een aanrader en we komen hier zeker terug. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen hoor Danny en Nathalie.

Reviewed By SofieNolf1Reeds 5 keer waren we te gast bij Petra en Stefaan. Steeds word je er met de glimlach ontvangen. De kamers zijn modern en stijlvol ingericht en kijken uit op de prachtige tuin. Alles is er tot in de puntjes verzorgd en kraaknet. De sauna, jacuzzi en het gezellige terras zorgen voor nog wat extra ontspanning. Keer op keer weet chef Stefaan te verrassen met zijn culinaire sterwaardige gerechten. Je voelt en proeft zijn passie van het eerste hapje tot het nagerecht. Overal is over nagedacht want we kregen nog nooit hetzelfde voorgeschoteld. B&B Leonie is een toppertje en een echt aanrader !!!

Reviewed By Victoria BWe booked to stay here for 3 nights having spent a week long holiday in Germany. We're a family of 4 and wanted somewhere child-friendly that was close to the various war memorial sites located in this part of Belgium. And WOW what a brilliant find!! Our room was spacious and well equipped, the children had full sized single beds with character duvet covers (which made them even more appealing!). The hosts were so friendly and helpful, rooms were spotless and the food was devine - only eat here when you're really hungry, portions are definitely generous! Location was perfect for what we needed - close to Ypres, Poperinge, Langermark and all the other places you may wish to visit. We enjoyed it so much here that we're planning a weekend away without the kids next time!! 10 out of 10 from us that's for sure! Thank you Arne and family!

Reviewed By John PBeautifully maintained including its garden where we had a generous breakfast including home-produced every morning. A very welcoming host - so unlike any chain hotel with a quality restaurant just up the road less than 1 km away for evening meal.
