Hotel with restaurant and beergarden. Newly renovated in modern-rustic atmosphere under professional management. We are continually expanding through seasonal fresh and daily specials prepared by the chef himself. Very family friendly.
Fine for an overnight
Reviewed By canswissWe stayed here for a night after some hiking in the region. The hotel is under renovations on the exterior - so it is not much to look at - at the moment - but on a cold evening it was warm, cosy, and fine. We did not have dinner here, so cannot uphold the previous comments about the kitchen. The breakfast in the morning was very average for Germany: bread, cheese, meat, cereal, and yoghurt... ...just average. Our room was in the top floor, with sloped ceilings. It was relatively small, but very adequate as a place to sleep. Our window (skylight) faced away from the road, so we did not hear the trains in the night (but others in our group did). The furnishing was simple modern (one level above IKEA), the bathroom was functional and clean, and the overall care and cleanliness was very good - no complaints at all. This is a small country hotel, there is no luxury or pretension here, and we were there on a slow weekend in the off-season. The hotel served its purpose well, but is really a functional place to stay, and not a destination itself.

Staff very helpful with questions in reference to local tourist area. If near southwest Germany, Black Forest or Hohenzollern Castle we highly recommend a stay of this great hotel/restaurant.

Lovely hotel
Reviewed By 253IanSStayed here while on a business trip to a supplier in Albstadt and we were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful settings, despite the minus temperature and 6" of snow! Friendly staff, huge rooms, excellent wifi and good food for the evening meal and breakfast the following day. My only negative comment was no phone signal inside the building so has to make any calls outside.

It is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in. We really enjoyed the breakfast. It was simple but homely. It was a beautiful walk through the Forrest to get a great view of the Hohenzollern Castle. Highly recommend this gorgeous hotel! And their restaurant is amazing too!

Reviewed By Markom191974Bed and breakfast only here, but the Brauhaus looks after everything you need. Definitely more than a three star hotel. Herr Conzelmann was a terrific host and made me feel at home as soon as I arrived, which was late on a cold Schwabian Sunday evening in March. Breakfast was basic but very tasty. Fridge was stocked with local beer, sparkling water and Coca Cola every day. Set in the Schwabian Alps, it couldn’t be anything else but stunning. I hope it won’t be long before I am back, and I would like to bring my family next time to meet the wonderful locals. Danke schön.

3 star but could have been much better
Reviewed By rohan mFirst off I must say that the service was very good. The resteraunt produce some wonderful pasta dishes but the best was the pizzases they were remarkable. Now the negatives the rooms were not cleaned properly, in the bathroom the light above the sink was broken and the shower wall was also broken. My question is very simple doesn't anyone see this when they're cleaning/inspecting the room? And just like alot of other guess have complained about the beds been way too soft. I understand that this is a three star hotel but I would have expected that the owner or manager would have had more pride in taking care of the hotel. Now to the breakfast buffet which was very simple but like I stated earlier could have been a lot better with a little bit of pride, putting into it to make it better. Now the big question, would I spend another night in this hotel, the answer is a definite "NO". But I would definitely eat at the restaurant.

Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet so das keine wünsche offen bleiben. Die angeschlossene Gastronomie hat eine sehr gute Küche. Allerdings ist der Gästeraum eher ein kleiner Saal und von daher etwas lauter. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.
