We had a family dinner here with 10 people. Food was what we had in Tuscany. The Italian owners do an amazing pizza. I had gnocchi that was very favorable. The room was comfortable although empty when we came at 6 it was full when we left at 8:30. If your in the area stop by.

Our extended family met here after a family reunion hike in the surrounding countryside. We were given the upstairs "loft" area, reserved entirely for our group - meaning that we were able to move about, change seats, talk, and the younger kids also had space to move and play. This was a very good idea, and very much appreciated.
The food was all excellent: fresh trout, flamkuchen, maultaschen, and all the other regional German specialities... very fulfilling after a solid day of hiking. The service was friendly, professional, and efficient, and we felt very welcome here.

We stayed there for one night for a big birthday party. The price-quaility relationship is perfect (90.- per double room, breakfast included). Rooms are not luxury, but very convenient, silent and clean. bathroom and toilet were in two separated rooms. The breakfast is generous. The hotel is located almost in the pedestrian area. parking behind the hotel is for free, as well as internte connection. We would certainly repeat a stay, as all staff was very nice.

Surprising different from many other restaurants in Albstadt is Dal Maestro Ristorante. It has built an excellent reputation during its 18 years of family operation.
Really a descent place to lunch and dine, well organized and managed. The Manager 'Mario' – his real name is Hans Dieter – is a superb host and will guide you through the wide varieties of choices on the menu, assuring you a tailor made dinner. Very delicious meals, nicely flavoured and tasteful. The pricing is modest. The restaurant is located a few kilometres outside the town centre of Albstadt, with ample parking space.

Stumbled across this one on business trip. Looks a bit dull from outside but very fresh and welcoming inside. Local on site brew beers very tasty. Good menu with decent portions although first choice was of menu when i asked. Worth a visit if you're in the area

This is a small family run restaurant. The food is really good and very authentic - it was really surprising to get such good Indian food in a small location like Albstadt. Paneer dishes were like what you would get back home. Very personalised service provided by the owner. great experience

Dieses Gasthaus liegt an einem der Traufgänge-Wanderwege. Es ist im Prinzip ein grosser Bauernhof mit angeschlossenem Gasthaus.
Es gibt eine sehr schöne Terasse mit Blick auf den Spielplatz und die Vielzahl an Hoftiefen ... ideal für Familien mit Kindern.
Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich und bietet regionale Spezialitäten, die bodenständig zubereitet an den Tisch kommen. Das essen dauerte etwas lang, aber war sehr lecker.
Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
