Reviewed By haplo89Smiley backpackers hostel does nothing special. The beds aren't very comfortable and the rooms aren't very nice. They don't serve breakfast so you have to go and look for it. The people are friendly but not entirely helpfull.

Reviewed By gemaquinaI boocked two nights here, staffs were so friendly and helpful. Liked the room and the beds, they have big lockers. Clean. Ended staying here for 5 nights because of the Coronavirus issue. Authorities wouldn’t let us go. The family here provide us with everything we needed! Amazing food! Water! Beer! They were so welcome! I’m so thankful to them, they make me feel so safe! Thanks!

Reviewed By seoro6Mr. Happy is a perfect basis to visit Da Lat & surroundings. It's 3 minutes walking from the main bus station and 15 minutes from city. center. The hostel is clean ant it has very comfortable mattresses, hot water and good food. The young owner loves his job, welcomes you with a big smile and a cup of tea. He also helped me to buy a bus ticket during the TET festival while at the station every company said there was nont tickets available! Thank you mr. Happy and see you again!

I stayed at Mooka’s for quite a while and I had such an amazing time with Van, her kids and Mooka’s crew is super fun, friendly and caring a lot about your personal and travel necessities. I honestly recommend to book either dorms ( wide, luminous and spotless) or the private rooms ( especially the one with the wall-length window!!). Also don’t forget to check out the rooftop there for sunset and to unwind with friends for beers or bbqs !!! Thank you so much Van!!!

Reviewed By SerenaBean2014This hostel instantly gave me very good feels, this was maybe due to the fact that we arrived after a long sleeper bus to be greeted by puppies! Probably one of the warmest and friendliest hostels I have stayed in.. it has the family feel that bigger or 'chain' hostels can lose. The staff and volunteers here were super friendly, kind and helpful. In the evenings they usually do a firepit where they roast and BBQ things over the fire.. this was a lovely extra touch. I felt this was the perfect social set up, there are plenty of benches outdoors that people tend to be drawn to sit around together. Breakfast was a self service deal, I actually really enjoyed it but I know some people weren't as much of a fan (frying your own eggs etc so a little messy). Beds were very comfy and I was hugely impressed by the shower situ!!! There was a large block really nicely decorated with many many showers, I actually felt relaxed and fresh getting ready rather than having the usual hostel rush. Big thanks to the very very sweet staff at this hostel!

You surely can't claim the deposit as well as extend your reservation due to the pandemic. I can affirm that you guys can barely have a good holiday with this hotel. I am in charge of all the sentences i wrote.

During the day we explored the area and hiked 16 kms round the lake, enjoyed the nearby monastery, cafes etc. The lady who ran the GH was super-friendly along with her excellent staff. Breakfast was included in the rate, and we also booked dinner. The breakfast and dinners were different each day so we always looked forward to meal time. OK, it was vegetarian but tasty. The bathroom was shared, the room basic and clean, and as the name suggests, it was situated on the side of the lake. Can thoroughly recommend a stay here, 5 kms from center of Da Lat which is accessible by the nearby cable car.

Phòng ốc rất sạch sẽ và đẹp, rộng rãi. phòng tắm đầy đủ tiện nghi, hơi buồn một chút là bát sen tắm đứng vẫn hoạt động nhưng không được tốt cho lắm. Anh Danh, anh Khánh và cô Giang giúp cho tụi mình có một kỳ nghỉ thật vui vẻ và thoải mái: xe thuê mới, khỏe, và được thay dầu ngay khi mình yêu cầu; phòng ốc bất cứ khi nào về cũng sạch sẽ tinh tươm và thơm tho; bữa sáng được chuẩn bị chu đáo và rất ngon miệng. Sau này khi đến Đà Lạt, chắc mình chỉ nghỉ ở The Note thôi chứ chả đi đâu nữa đâu!
