The Spa at Culloden

I received a surprise spa day from my step daughter with 2 treatments included. From Niamh at the reception desk who was so welcoming & lovely &showed us around & explained the facilities & to the other staff on who were lovely. The spa was brilliant so clean & relaxing & before our treatments we spent a relaxing time using the jacuzzi, pool & steam room . We ordered a coffee & a lovely muffin just out of the oven ... yummy. The girl doing my treatment was called Judith .... she was the lovliest girl & so professional & fantastic throughout my 2 treatments. I felt so relaxed & chilled after both treatments & Judith took me back to the amazing relaxation room & brought me a glass of water. I would recommend this spa day at the Culloden & you might be lucky enough like I was to get Judith doing your treatments.

Bannatyne Health Club

Reviewed By WhoamI-00 - Belfast, United Kingdom

Wee treat at Bannatynes. Wanted to try somewhere different (than the hugely popular and very expensive spa attached to a well established hotel that offer spa days, which is so busy you can't avail of the amenities, relax etc) Bannatynes did not disappoint. From the moment you enter the premises you are made to feel welcome and important. Our guide was lovely and explained everything to us without a hint of boredom. We availed of jacuzz, steam room, sauna, relaxation room with its range of heated beds Then the treatments. The therapist was so pleasant. They use the premium Elemis brand. Facial and massage were absolute bliss. Didn't use the Gym. Unlike that other well known Spa you are not time bound. There are plenty of showers which are really powerful and more than enough lockers, which operate via a device like a fit it type device. There are hair driers a plenty as well. The only niggle is the furnishings I. Changing rooms are a tad dark but that's just my opinion. Everything is spotless. You are free to wear robes in the cafe area too which is good value and also offers a take away service. A great day and will deffo go back.
