Reviewed By PeterTokyoPeterRoom is larger than what I expected. 8 tatami mats plus alpha space is so enough for 2 people. Sulfurous hot spring relaxed us well. "Jigoku" is 15 minutes on foot from this hotel. We enjoyed "Jigoku" hiking before breakfast. Dinner & breakfast is so delicious for us. In addition, hotel people's hospitality is so nice.

Reviewed By Nicole YThis is not a very grand hotel however I had one of my best experience with Japanese hospitality. If you are not driving, you will need to make efforts on the bus schedule - that's what we did. The hotel price included delicious breakfast and dinner, one of the signature dish is the squid sashimi served alive. Our Japanese style room was outside of the main building, facing to the sea. It is spacious, air-conditioned and with a private onsen. Free wifi is only available in the hotel lobby.

Reviewed By Denise MThe hotel is convenient from the ferry and is situated with lovely bay views of Kagoshima. We had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed our meals. We had sashimi and the beef and vegetables you cook yourself over a hot stone-like grill. I also enjoyed browsing around their gift shop as they had a lot of interesting items and foods there. The room was Japanese style had a lovely view of the bay. When we went down for dinner they had our beds ready for us which was nice. The staff was very warm, friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed By I_S_B_L_oSpacious hotel with big dining hall. Rooms are typical Japanese size. Service is efficient and friendly. Onsens are available. Dinner was generous. It’s near the Takachiho gorge which is simply gorgeous.

今日の料理が最悪だった件
Reviewed By ABCDCBAB土用の丑を食べ損ねたので昼飯に寄った。お品書きは美味しそうだったが出て来たものは醤油とみりんと山椒で煮込んだようなうなぎが出て来た。うなぎはその味の濃いタレに半分くらい浸っている。ありえない。ここには料理人はいるのか？今日は休みだったのか？。盛り付けも乱雑にただ入れたという感じ。客や料理に対する愛がない。それとお品書きには茶碗蒸しと書かれていたが茶碗蒸し用のスプーンだけ置かれて忘れられていたのでさすがにそれは催促した。料理はランチなどリーズナブルで美味しい時もある。あまりにムラが激しい。近くに住んでいるだけにもうちょっとしっかりしてほしい。

The Japanese style casual public hotel which is built at the back by car as for the access in a mountain from Kyushu Expressway, Nakashimanishi IC for approximately 20 minutes. In the place of a 3-minute walk, a sightseeing spot is it in "TsujunKyou and Grougataki waterfall". The guest room provides the Western-style room (with bath) of a Japanese-style room (six capacity) and two beds. I am fully equipped with air-conditioning, the restroom with the warm water washing function, a refrigerator, a thin-screen TV in all rooms and support complete Wi-Fi. There is a non-smoking guest room. The hot spring facilities comprise the sauna other than an opening-like Large public bath and outdoor bath (simple spring). The restaurant provides the sum breakfast of a buffet form or the set meal and the dinner such as Japanese food low dining tables with ingredients from a hometown (there is the plan with the meal). It is completely equipped with the free parking lot, too.

Reviewed By TatamboStayed one night with my family. Staff at the front desk, Onsen (hot spring) public bath area, and the restaurant were all friendly and helpful. My husband got injury while hiking near by waterfall and needed a medical treatment right away on Sunday. They looked up and found a doctor who could treat him and drove us there. The room was spacious and neat. Dinner and breakfast were served in their restaurant and had full of locally grown ingredients. Very close to Tsujun-kyo bridge, and accessible with a public bus from Kumamoto City.

静かな 落ち着いた レトロっぽい感じの宿
Reviewed By DayTrip808813お茶で有名な星野村にある。棚田や お茶畑を楽しみながら登っていきました。とても静かな所にあり 入口からレトロっぽい雰囲気がある。床は石（タイル？）で敷き詰められ 2階建て。木製のらせん階段がある。部屋は床も絨毯でなく木です。畳でまあまあの広さ。トイレの床も木で とても落ち着く。又 お風呂が 入口入った所と同一の素材で作られている浴槽です。今時 ユニットバスでないのが嬉しい。大きなお風呂で湯を貯めるのに時間はかかりますが、満足出来るから 大浴場迄いきませんでした。アメニティも揃っている。夕食は別に用意されている部屋で！とても美味しくて料理長の腕の良さがわかります。朝食も同じ所で。同じく美味しくいただきました。 帰りには 部屋でお茶といただいたお菓子を買って帰りました。やはりお茶どころですね。外に出たら 雪が！初雪に出会えました！！ 寒いので携帯カイロが必要です。又 ゆっくりしたい時行きたい宿です。今度は・・・星・・・を是非 楽しみたい。
