If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

I attended the watercolour class with teacher Raymond. It was pretty chill session, and he is very detailed in sharing the skills, demonstrating to us the techniques to paint. I have a good experience there, and would recommend you to head down too if you are looking at places to take a break from your busy life and learn new skills.

If you’re looking for a place in Singapore to do some lap training, this is it. You’re able to swim in either pool: training or competition; try them both. These are the cleanest pools I’ve ever been in. Easily accessible on the circle and it’s even half-price if you’re over 55. Swimmers Heaven.

If you're looking for an interesting movie, you should visit the Projector at Golden Mile Tower. It screens a good mix of both international & local movies. You get to watch a movie without any disturbance from the well mannered patrons. The restaurant offers lovely cakes & they also have live music on weekends. The toilets are artistically designed.

The Plant Story

Reviewed By huhudada24 - Singapore, Singapore

While googling things to do for a birthday celebration, I came across this workshop. We did the Home Apothecary Workshop making the Soul Good Vapour Rub. Learnt interesting stuff about the plants from Cath. Love the hands on experience with smelling and touching the plants. For such a personalised experience, it's worth the cost. Cath's amazing and patient answering our questions. Suitable for celebrations with friends. Would definitely come again and try the other options. Opt for their tea and homemade cake and have it at their tree house. Since we can't really travel, good to rediscover Singapore and recharge in nature with The Plant Story.

The Fragment Room

South East Asia's FIRST Rage Room

Reviewed By Sblackwood22 - London, United Kingdom

I visited The Fragment Room on 28th December 2018. I did a walk-in and was told to come back in an hour which was fine as it allowed me to explore the local area (Little India). The staff were real helpful and friendly. I was able to connect to their bluetooth and play my own music. Slightly pricey but worth the experience. I'll defo visit again if I go back to Singapore.
