La casa data del siglo XI en los orígenes del propio castillo de Púbol, reactualizada en el siglo XVII y actualizada como Casa Rural en 2009. El acceso es a través de un arco-túnel de piedra por el que se accede a la plaza de Púbol. La parte superior e interior del “túnel” da cobijo a la singular biblioteca de Las Moradas, con no menos de 5.000 libros en ella.
