1.4 Merit Montevideo Apart & Suites is a newly-opened hotel located in Pocitos, in one of the most traditional and yet modern and safe neighborhoods in Montevideo. Its strategic location allows easy access from any part of the city just by taking the avenue of the Rambla (waterfront promenade) and from any major streets of the capital city. But if you are looking for a clean, (yes, previous reviewer - clean) modern apart hotel, in a good Montevideo neighborhood, this is the place. We didn't try the breakfast, so no comment on that. However for less than seventy bucks a night we got a spacious living room, large balcony, a full size kitchen (including large refrigerator, stove top, microwave and electric kettle) a bedroom with all the amenities, and a small but efficient bathroom w/shower. New flat screen TV with international channels plus HBO, in both bedroom and living room and WIFI. We chose the hotel because it was close to a friend's apt., so didn't use the kitchen. We did not need full hotel services. But if you are spending a few days and find that a very reasonably-priced suite with a full kitchen fits your needs, go no further!

Reviewed By Serguti2We arrived without reservation and Santa Ana (small town near Colonia) and immediately find the house complex (they are equal to the pictures). - NOTE: administration is done at San Jorge Hotel...so go there if you do not have reservation and they will open the house for you and prepare accommodations. House was nicely maintained and suitable for my Family (4 to 6 people). The town is really quiet and safe for kids. I recommend this place. -NOTE 2: Do the reservation and everything prior to get to the place, to ensure availability.

Beautiful and peaceful bungalows with a "French touch"
Reviewed By UteM162We spent two lovely days in one of the high-ceiling bungalows of Lune de Miel, generously and beautifully equipped. The bungalows are near the incredible Playa Grande, one of the endless sandy beaches of the area. But the best of all is Jean, the French owner of Lune de miel, who gives his guests apart from impeccable service the feeling of having found a place that feels like home Wunderschöne, komfortable Bungalows in der Nähe von Playa Grande, einer der schönsten um Punta del Diablo. Der Besitzer Jean, eine Franzose, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich hier sofort wie zuhause. Sehr empfehlenswert

Reviewed By psl1987El lugar es hermoso, muy tranquilo y relajado, excelente para pasar un fin de semana en conexión con la naturaleza. Las casas están muy bien equipadas y son muy cómodas, ubicadas frente al río ofrecen muy linda vista y practicidad a la hora de bajar a la playa. Un punto a mejorar es la limpieza, si bien la casa estaba prolija sería bueno que tengan una limpieza un poco más profunda por ejemplo en el horno y el baño (la cortina de la ducha). También recomendaría incluir algunos elementos de uso diario como PH e insumos de cocina, simplemente para que la experiencia sea excelente.

Hidden gem near La Barra
Reviewed By AntaresmssWe discovered this secluded gem through a friend's recommendation; and we loved it. A couple of blocks from Parada # 32 of the La Brava beach, surrounded by a lush pine forest, this beautiful and quiet appart-hotel is all you can wish for a stay in Punta del Este. You can easily access the bustling La Barra town center, which is only a 10 minute walk away. All the units include a full kitchen with full stove, microwave, electric kettle, and china. The air conditioned units are super quiet and are furnished in different styles that were created by the local Home Design School in Punta del Este. The grounds include a spacious dining shelter with two barbecues, a fire pit to assemble around and watch the stars, with the pine trees as your background. The swimming pool is large and inviting, and there is a full time groundskeeper on site that is happy to help with anything you may need. There are laundry facilities for the guests, and fresh beach towels are available by the pool every morning. This is a very unique place in Punta del Este, and we are certain we will visit again.

A simple but spacious & cosy accommodation
Reviewed By MrsPiketAparthotel Aloe Village is located 4km outside La Paloma and focuses on holyday making families & couples. The accommodation is family owned and managed. The owner is the son of Italian immigrants and speaks, beside Spanish, also English, German, Italian and Portuguese. He is welcoming and very helpful. At reception there is a small well heated double pool, and lounge with a jacuzzi. Our 2-floor apartment was simple, spacious and offered reasonable comfort. It is well maintained and acceptably clean. The beach is at walking distance and the owner provides beach-chairs. Walking along the coast to La Paloma is pleasant and takes an hour. At the ground floor we had a sun-covered private parking, an entry with table and chairs, and a living room annex kitchen & bathroom. At the backside we found a small patio with grill facility. The living room had table & 4 chairs, drawer & TV-set, and a couch that can be used as a single bed. The kitchen is simple but fully equipped, with oven, cook-top, sink, microwave, water-cooker, coffeemaker, and all the pots & pans and tableware you need. Next to the kitchen you find a small bathroom with washbasin, toilet, bided and shower. At ground floor the windows can be opened but do not have mosquito screens. At first floor we had a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a safe and an acceptable double bed and a comfy sun-covered balcony with table and chairs. Al was practically decorated. Windows and doors at first floor can be opened and have mosquito screens. These screens are definitely needed. We had to keep the door of the bedroom closed to avoid a visit of mosquitos. The cabin is simple but cosy. Good complimentary Wi-Fi Internet. We came for 1 night and stayed 3. Recommend.

Contamos con Habitaciones estándar, y apartamentos CON COCINA, completamente equipados con todo lo que necesitas para que en tu estadía TE SIENTAS COMO EN CASA. En los pisos 10, 11 y 12 se encuentran ubicadas los penthouse, salón de eventos, centro de negocios, sala de reunión privada y terraza con barbacoa.

La atención del equipo super cordial, siempre atentos. En la cafetería sirven un café impecable. Sin dudas el mejor Apart hotel en el centro de Montevideo. Todo cerca, y medios de transporte a mano. Seguramente Volveremos!!!
