Reviewed By anitac479This property is located conveniently to most city destinations via GRAB bike or taxi. There is a lot of local food surrounding the hotel and within District 3. The only thing is if you live on the lower floors, it can be quite noisy in the early morning as street vendors are setting up, passing by, and other motorbikes who sell banh mi. Friendly staff and the locals surrounding are very helpful and friendly.

Reviewed By Jet692084I had great time there, comfortable bed a good breakfast bar, staff were a pleasure to interact with, just had to ask for a safety box and had one within minutes, maids are trustworthy and cleaned room daily, laundry service was great. Anything I needed was catered for, tours, taxis, airport transport etc you just have to ask at front counter. The manager was a great person, not a palace though ideal for those on a budget so don't expect 5star rooms. The rooms had tv, air conditioned, safety box you just ask at front desk. remember you get what you pay for in this world. if you expect 5 star then go pay for that! elsewhere. As a comfortable clean bed is all you need as you only need a room to sleep in, as your hardly there if your touring around the sights in Ho Chi Minh City.

A hidden gem
Reviewed By baohapWe are from Saigon and have stayed pretty much at all top-end hotels in Saigon from Park Hyatt, to Caravelle and the fancy Reverie but we loved Saigon Sky Garden and will definitely come back. I first stayed here in July and recently came back with my mother and brother in December 2018. Don’t let the building and the facade put you off. The building was built in the early 90s and may look a little dated but the rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious - originally built as service apartments for the Japanese community working and living in Saigon (and still is). They thought of everything from kitchen appliances to washing machine and bathroom. Very well maintained. Staff were very courteous and helpful. There is a swimming pool, a gym and a tennis court for those who want to exercise. Very close to Nguyen Hue Boulevard, Dong Khoi Street and the Opera House without the hassle of the crowds. Le Thanh Ton street is a charming leafy street with lots of trees which we loved.

Reviewed By SueD935We stayed for 3 nights in February, there was no "wow" factor, however, the apartment was everything we needed, a double room, lounge,bathroom and kitchen. It was very secure - doormen outside the building, reception then a door from the lift which had to be opened with a key card and finally the room door. It was clean and functional with daily housekeeping, the best thing, however, was the location, it is literally 50m from the Bui Vien Walking St where there are plenty of bars/restaurants/travel agents to book tours. There is a rooftop bar in the same building as the apartments which is very highly rated on Trip Advisor but although it did have good views over the city and a nice atmosphere, we found the drinks to be expensive and the menu very limited - mainly burgers, we found a much better roof bar/restaurant 2 minutes walk away. Should we return to HCM we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay - convenient and efficient
Reviewed By priyank1209Was there for 5 nights as am in process of moving to Vietnam. So this was he base to work out the visa and housing. Bit far from district 1 where most of the government offices etc are. But very convenient in terms of having a relaxed evening. Just in front of crescent mall, walking distance from vivo city mall. Plus lots of things to do as you climb down the towers- restaurants and cafes are just below the building facing the water. Even multiple convenience stores (K-Marts) and banking (including ATMs) are walking distance. And there is a beautiful park across the water body. I used to love the evening Jog across the park and around the water. Loved the rooms very spacious clean and safe and secure. Very courteous staff. Very friendly people. The Gym and the recreation centre is simply AWESOME..!!! loved the gym..!!! Though the tv channel list in terms of international choices is very limited. Also the SAP was not available. The internet in apartment flunked mid way through my visit. And it never got up. Some technical snag. But I think even the crescent can't do much as they depend on service providers. All in all I loved my stay here. And will definitely stay there again when I have a chance.

Upon arrival the first time, reception couldn’t find our booking (not ideal), but it was quickly rectified and we were up in our 4 bedroom apartment. Fantastic views, so much space and very clean! The restaurant downstairs accommodated the needs off our tired kids on the first night so all was well! Breakfast service we found a little slow, but meals were decent size. Apartments are within walking distance to fantastic shopping centres and the popular street food market. Our second stay a week later saw us stay in an even larger 4 bedroom apartment. Staff were very helpful with late checkout and use of change room facilities as our pickup to the airport didn’t arrive until 5pm. We would definitely recommend!
