Fantastic Stay
Reviewed By Adam and Ella XMy partner and I stayed at the Hallstatt Hideaway for two amazing nights in the Wren Suite. It was definitely worth it for the views alone, but the rest of the space was clean, modern and had all the essentials. Sandra especially made us feel very welcome and was so accomodating, we wish we could have stayed longer in this fairytale town.

The room was clean ,tidy with a very comfortable bed and we were almost along in the building,the price was very reasonable.we had also all to have tea party on the balcony. The breakfast was fantastic in a very old and nicely furnished hotel like in museum. The restaurant on the terrace has an amassing view and very quick service and of course tasty kitchen. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

Lovely hotel with good restaurant and excellent staff
Reviewed By charliemalarkeyWe loved our stay here. The location is perfect, easy walking distance into town but in a quiet location on the lake. We stayed in two rooms over our stay, thanks to a complimentary upgrade, and whilst perhaps a little tired both were nicely decorated and very comfortable. The communal areas are stylish and comfortable, and the terrace has wonderful views over the lake. Breakfast offered a good range of options. The restaurant was very good for both lunch and dinner, although I would recommended exploring the options in town as well. Whilst the hotel has a private beach on the lake, it is across the road and has no facilities. However this wasn't a big inconvenience and seems quite usual. By and large the staff were very friendly and helpful, forgiving our almost non-existent German! We'd definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return.

quiet & cozy room
Reviewed By Edward CWe stayed at the Gasthof Bergfried at the end of September. Our room was on the 2nd floor, overlooking the funicular. It was very quiet at night, and the room was cute and cozy. The room had no A/C, no facial tissues, no coffee, tea or cups (although there was a hot water kettle). The bed was comfortable. There was a small table with chairs, and a TV in the room. We could walk everywhere, and it was about a 10 minute walk from the ferry. It was very comfortable for a 1 night stay. The front desk is only open from 9am-7pm.

We booked the room with the lake view the view from the balcony of the lake was amazing. Breakfast was really good and fresh. One morning we had to check out early and the staff prepared for us a lovely packed breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really liked this place.

Fantastic pension in a beautiful location
Reviewed By Siobhan7818Absolutely beautiful pension in a fantastic location. It is just a short walk to the lake and restaurants. The room was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed. There was a lovely balcony which was great to sit on and enjoy the views. The breakfast was exceptional. We have never had such a nice breakfast anywhere we have stayed. There was a vast choice of pastries, fruit, yogurts, meats and cheeses. Our extremely kind host even provides a hot eggs option and she remembered our preferences every morning! The host is so friendly and she was attentive and kind ensuring we had everything we needed. This property is great value considering the very high quality and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting St Wolfgang and we hope to stay again next year. Thank you to our lovely host- we had a fantastic time!

Reviewed By suzanne6004A lovely place to stay for an evening in Hallstatt. The place was renovated just before the pandemic so is in fantastic condition. We had a room at the back on first level and it was very lovely. Beautiful timber finishes. Heating was great and slept really well. Bathroom facilities are very modern and well finished with a walk in shower. Great place to sit and have a drink/coffee and watch the visitors in the Markplatz. Plenty of locals love to pop in and have a drink which shows it is a relaxed place to be. Tom welcomed us into his home and happy to sit and chat and recommend things to see and do. Served a nice breakfast - meats, cheeses, bread, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, OJ and water from the fountain. Just a note that there is no vehicle access into the town and you will need to leave your car in the carparks outside but the shuttle taxi runs constantly so no need to worry and it is only a 3-5 minutes drive to your hotel. A lovely place to stay and at the moment is still very quiet so perfect time to be there!

Our comfortable apartments in Obertraun are less than 1 minutes walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt in the heart of the Austrian Lake District- 70 minutes from Salzburg.We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and we are perfectly situated for summer or winter holidays by yourself or with family and friends. In summer there are a huge range of activities to keep everyone occupied from swimming, fishing, canoeing, diving, mountain biking, walking, hiking, climbing, paragliding, golf, white water rafting and caving.

Reviewed By linan152We booked one place and given another. You are very lucky if you have hot water in the shower and the shower is not the cleanest. The place is just off the train tracks. It's just not worth it....we are wery disappointed...

The 3-star, quiet, idyllically located Pension Irlingerhof, with its family charm, is located in a wonderful world on the sunny slopes around Mondsee. We created a new feel-good ambience with the renovation of our rooms, the dinning room and fitness center! After relaxing on the lawn you will find pleasant refreshment in the swimming pool with sunbathing area next to the house. In our large garden you will find many secluded spots, to escape the stress of everyday life.

Reviewed By Rafal GLocated on the hill in quite neighborhood. Good breakfast with helpful service. Standard of my room was rather poor but compensated by the service and location. Another disadvantage is that there is no dinner menu but instead have fantastic local stuff and wine.

Modern hotel with all amenities
Reviewed By jai8_LondonStayed for a wedding and had everything we needed. The hotel seems recently refurbished, is very clean and has comfortable beds. The communal areas are more traditional and comfortable and the breakfast spread had all the usual Austrian delicacies including some antipasti. The only negative was the des-interested and disorganised staff whose English was terrible.
