BUT unfortunately, the staffs are mostly not friendly and sometimes rude.. TOTALLY! May it be the Front Desk, F&B or even Housekeeping.. It seems that the management has failed to provide staffs with enough proper HOSPITALITY training..

Reviewed By _jas_8814First impression, a quiet and serene hotel within rows of shop houses. Upon entering the hotel lobby, I felt like walking into a Japanese home. Very zen;) Eateries and supermarket are walking distance. My stay was very comfortable and everywhere I look were clean, I love it. A little bit hiccup during checking in due to system malfunction, but the matter was rectify within 5minutes,so no problem there. Just make sure all system were in a good condition. For the price I paid, it is very worth it. Less than RM100 for a very good room.I would stay here again during my next visit to Bintulu.

Roxy’s beach resort is THE thing, and it explodes with patrons on weekends! Thankfully, we came on a weekday where it was very much less crowded; and we were also given frontliner promo rates(only available on weekdays), and we stayed in the Beachfront Canopy! ? Perfect for the four of us (myself, Michelle, mom and sister) Beach Vibes ? that’s the only reason you’d come all the way here. With kilometres of an endless sandy beach stretch, and especially with the backdrop of Talang-Talang Island, it truly is picturesque. Rent a bicycle, rev up an ATV, go kayaking or jet skiing, or even rent a speedboat to Talang-Talang Island; there’s really quite a lot to do! At night, Michelle and I strolled at beach in the dark; it was romantic and breezy. ? Roxy’s food court is vibrant with life, and the Chinese seafood (Sam Tsai Seafood) there was really good! Just don’t expect too much from the buffet breakfast spread though ? after all, the main reason you’d come here is for the beach vibes. Travel Tip: -go on weekdays. Really. The staff told me that on weekends, the beach is incredulously full of people; almost the entire stretch of beach is occupied. -if you’re a frontliner, give them a call and get your frontliner promo ? just show your badge upon checking in. -use Waze, expect a road trip for 3 hours ?

A place where the kampua noodles and kompia pastries are the order of the day, the pasar malam a must visit in Sibu (which we did with out fail).We stayed at Orchid Hotel, a bit old but serve it purpose. The furnitures / fitting are old, the linens are clean but old though (which is fine) the rates are a little on the steep site for that kind of property. The staff are friendly. The b/fast can be better. (there are a number of food outlet surrounding the hotel both serve halal and non halal menu) the room are basically clean with a tinge of carpet smell. the lift are dimly lit. What i like most of this hotel is the private parking lost with in the Hotel's compound. It also walking distance to the nearby shopping complex and the town centre. I would not hesitate to return to this place again

Nice place to stay overnight
Reviewed By RinaJohn2394Always pick this hotel whenever i have to go to airport on the next day. Convenient, close to shopping malls like Farley, and opposite the road is just the Sin Kwong mall. It is easier to find food here and parking near the hotel is a no problem. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. I wish the hotel had elevators to carry my big bags every time i came here. So far great experience staying here!

Reviewed By zoefiedStayed here for 2 nights. All are good except the pillows. The rooms overlooking the river are awesome. Awesome view to watch the sunset & sunrise from the rooftop. Foods were average. As with other hotels struggling from the devastating effect of covid & now making recovery, there were plenty of maintenance jobs to be done to the property.

Reviewed By adck30PROS: In the middle of town near to entertainment outlet and eatery places. 10 minutes walk min to the nearest shopping mall @ Permaisuri mall. In front of the inn is a taxi stand for those looking for a taxi across the road. There is parking available provided by the inn. CONS The room is a simple room no cupboard, a bit rundown needing a lot of maintenance especially the locks, hairdryer and how the room needs a bit of upgrade. The corridor carpet need a lot of cleaning @ cleanness and hygiene at concern.

What makes HomeStay Hotel Kuching special is that it is a budget hotel that has the astonishing facility of Air-conditioning, Hot Shower, Satellite TV programmes & etc. Furthermore, the hotel is located just 3 minutes away from the city centre offering a view that will have very few parallels in the world. The hotel is designed to satisfy even the most discerning traveller with comfort, elegance and superb service.
Only thing good was the WIFI
Reviewed By therubesThe photo's and reviews must be from another time because, the room was very small, just as small as the 18 inch TV with one channel. The WIFI was excellent. No hot water in the shower and no real water pressure. They advertised restaurant, wasn't open any of the 3 nights I stayed there. I tried to cancel after first night but would not refund. There is no where close to buy food, you must get a taxi. Good luck finding one in this remote area. It's behind a motorcycle sales and very desolate. The bed was harder than a concrete slab. I actually woke up in pain.Brushed my teeth and the sink clogged, so I didn't even bother to shave. Don't bother reporting any of this to the front desk, they don't care because there's nothing they can do about it. And besides, they already have your money. If your looking for a terrible nights sleep and want to stay up all night on the web, this is the place. Don't sacrifice a couple of RM's to lose REMS.
