Reviewed By Sadeed20Reasonably priced on and off peak season. Great standard for comfort & safety. Cozy hotel, well situated, in a coastal sea side town next to big western city of Oran. Personalised and friendly service, provided by the owner/manager himself and his closest family. Well situated at the center or Ain-el-Turk next to shopping, restaurant, safe car park space, and other services. Additional services, nationwide travel, car rental, access to and from airport and even out of the way local business advice is provided by the owner himself. It is like staying at a very locally supportive friends' place which happens to be comfy, nice & yet judiciously away from Oran city center congestions, and conveniently close to the western coast beaches.

An excellent hotel
Reviewed By Chokri MI was in this hotel during February 2016 for 3 days. It's excellent. Staff is very welcoming starting from reception. Hotel is clean, about 30 rooms in total- 7 floors. Equipped with elevator. My twin room was so nice with 32" Led tv, mini fridge, closet, and decent bathroom. Restaurant is very pleasant, where you get your breakfast or order a coffee or food during the day. Best value hotel placed in heart of Oran, near to Place dArmes. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel for international and local travellers
Reviewed By Nattyv43Having stayed in a number of hotels in Oran, including the "big name" chain hotels and cheaper local options, Hotel Fantazia would be my first choice for a stay in Oran. Firstly, the hotel is impeccably clean. Rooms are modern, with comfortable beds and pillows. My room was perfectly made up each day, and communal areas are kept sparklingly clean. Secondly, the food in the restaurant is very good. There is a good range of options at both lunch and dinner (breakfast is included in the room price), the food is fresh and the view over the bay of Oran great. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and super efficient. Thirdly, the area in which the hotel is situated is a great base for exploring Oran. You are a short walk from the main hotels (Sheraton, etc) if you are holding a business meeting there and a 10-min taxi ride or a 30 min walk from the centre of town (cost 50p-£2.50). There are a number of handy local shops (pharmacy, supermarket etc) and some nice restaurants. The most important thing about the Hotel Fantazia is the level of service. It attracts both families and customers travelling on business and it takes excellent care of them. All of the staff are extremely polite and friendly, combining warmth and professionalism, from the reception staff to the housekeeping staff to the restaurant staff, to the owner. Nothing is too much trouble to improve your stay. In short, as someone very familiar with hotels in Algeria and the rest of the world, I would really recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By SALAH MHI EVERY BODY** Its me again ** The Medina Hotel is located in Oran, I had a treble room with friends on the Third floor No 302 for a night from 17 to 18 -10-2015 , the room is big & not clean ,The bathroom was very old & small ,Breakfast poor ,No WI-FI , value too much, I'm not recommend, really bad with a lot of mosquitoes in my room ,take care

Reviewed By PaulvewA good price, comfortable, clean. They don't speak English but nor do they in the grand Hotel Royal where I lunched and dined and where room prices are geared for aid people. Oran need not take more than thee hours but has great charm.

Reviewed By Mondon2607Séjour de 3 nuits en novembre. Réservation faite via agence de voyage algérienne. Le prix réglé à l'agence ne correspondait pas au prix affiché dans les chambres.(nous avons réussi malgré tout à nous faire rembourser une partie de la différence). Chambres sur rue très bruyante, pas de double vitrage, pas de rideaux ni de stores. Sanitaires médiocres, on a dû réclamer des serviettes, minimum en produit de toilette, têtes de lit hors d'état, petit déjeuner minimaliste, chauffage qu'on ne pouvait pas éteindre. Du pas cher qui s'est avéré en fait très cher. Dommage.

hôtel sympa et propre
Reviewed By angelique mNous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel. La chambre était propre, nous avions la salle de bains et les WC dans la chambre, ainsi qu'une petite terrasse. Il y avait egalement un figo et la clim. L'hôtel est situé en dehors de la ville d'Oran,à environ 20 minutes en transport en commun. Il est bien situé, épiceries, restaurants, bus et plage pas loin. Il faut par contre prendre 2 bus pour y accéder depuis Oran. Le personnel est agréable, sympathique et compétent. Le prix est correct 4000 dinars pour 2, petit déjeuner inclus, qui est assez copieux.
