The owners of the B&B were kind and helpful, including assisting us in getting transport to a testing center ahead of our flight. The room was comfortable and clean, but it seemed like a lot of mosquitos got in no matter what we did. Location is good, off of the main road but within walking distance of sites and restaurants.

Reviewed By NDtravaller2001Great location, Just in front of the hotel is the beach, very nice view from the terrace really pleasant and clean rooms, beautiful furniture, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. My husband and I with two children stayed three days at this hotel, there is a nice bar, there is a nice private room we had lunch dinner at this bar my children loved the food in there we loved the live music the band, nice staff very friendly We had a perfect stay Nathalia - Paris

Great helpful and friendly staff, great position and comfortable room
Reviewed By Karen CVaaya Beach Hotel belongs to Olanka Travel who we booked our Sri Landan tour through. We arrived at 1.30 am and were taken by our tour driver, Douglas -The Great-to this Hotel. Our room and breakfast for this first night was very comfortable and breakfast whilst basic was good. With the situation with COVID-19 escalating towards the end of our tour and two flights out of Sri Lanka being cancelled I can only express our gratitude and appreciation for the level of care and attention afforded to us in our stressful situation. I think the Vaaya does more short stays, but we were provided well cooked meals, we all even went to the fish market to get the Prawns and Whole fish for our evening meal due to curfew rule and nothing being open. Thank you so much to staff and the Manager for making the end of our tour memorable for all the right reasons. We will always have fond memories of your care.

Reviewed By Vita WHalf an hour from the airport, Lankahuts is a small, friendly place right on the beach - a perfect starting point to anyone 's trip. Room is spacious, very clean withe lovely view of the beach and the ocean. I loved being around the real life of the Negombo people - fishermen working on their nets, families enjoying the the sea.... The staff is really helpful, attentive and the manager is very keen to assist with anything you require during your stay or planning forthcoming travels. She organised an amazing ayuvedic message (@ Jasmin) at an excellent price and also a transfer to our next destination to Kitulgala. ..... And the breakfast - a true highlight of the stay - plentiful, delicious, and the setting was just perfection. Thank you to all lovely people working at Lankahuts.

Reviewed By Frans UI stayed with my family for two nights, and it was a great experience. The place is clean and nice well kept rooms and a nice pool and pool area. Nero, the owner also made the stay super, he is the nicest most helpful person you will ever meet. I realy recommend this place.

They will be awaiting your breakfast every morning, give you some usefull advice, however, prices at the hotel reataurant are over the top while you can get a better food elsewhere(point of elsewhere i come back to). Chicken, rice and bbq sauce, heated in microwave=850 rupies=6e. For that you can buy..yea. Beds are clean, wont be changed during your stay but okay. We had a frog in our bathroom on arrival, ok, haha. Otherwise bathroom and the room are okay, nothing special, basic. The biggest problem for me was the remote place of hotel. 15min walk to nearest bus station + 25 min for a very cheap bus to nearest town Negombo. Tuk tuk = 250in one of way to negombo. About 1000+ to Colombo. The beach is far from being beatiful. Its dirty and smelly, the water is not clear, rather yellow, and the waves are big. The area around the hotel is dirty. Not something you want to see if you want to spend time on beach. Forget about it. No AC in the room, just a fan. However considering other options north of colombo this is a 3,5/5 grade. It will take you a while to get to somewhere if you are a lowbudget backpacker. Other than that, the hotel is a quite a good option to stay no more than 3 nights
