We have two swimming pool, kayaks, pool table, water sport behind a 200hp speedboat (knee/wake board, water skis), slow boat cruises up and downstream... and a large variety of music and a well stocked bar with fresh cocktails. Reviewed By DipankarChyauPatnaikThe resort is located a little away from Kampot and this time we noticed that the road is better. It is a quiet and idyllic place on the banks of the river Kampot. It probably has one of the best rooms in the city and with the view like none other. The mountain rises in front of the balcony and you cannot have enough. The staff are good and non-intrusive, the premises are large and you can do a lot of fun filled activities, shoot photos, and above all it’s the best place to do the most important action = nothing. Yes, go here to leave the world behind, relax, look inwards and the place will be the best for you. Food wise, they are not great with limited menu (but its cooked fresh), but these days most hotels in Kampot are well functioning and you can go there or possibly also get the food delivered (do check with the hotel though). The rooms are a bit pricey and can be a bit lower for the facilities available. We had a good time with family and had the place to ourselves, which we wanted badly. Most recommended for those who want peace, serenity and own space.

Reviewed By Claude GBe very wary of manager & his prices requested! Prices for guests, especially long term guests can & do vary considerably. Do your homework first & ask other guests before agreeing to any price - this man can & will rip you off if he can get away with it. Otherwise, it's a lovely place for some peace & quiet with swimming pool & in a good location. Shame about man management!

Reviewed By Coastal700775Just a five minute motobike ride from the old road bridge in the centre of Kampot, on the west side of the river is this a small well run guesthouse. Sofie and her 2 lovely dogs made us very welcome. The rooms are simple and clean, Sofie had kindly put an extra standing fan in the room in addition to the ceiling fan. Although the weather turned cool. There is a lovely deck overlooking a small branch of the river, serves a simple and very good value breakfast, drinks and food throughout the rest of the day. Highly recommended for people who want to stay in a green environment with easy access to the centre of Kampot. We will be staying another night on Monday as we pass back through Kampot on-route to PP.

The breakfast is fabulous (didn’t eat again until dinner), the location is excellent and the room was huge and very clean. But our best experience in this hotel was with the staff, particularly Kosal. Kosal’s love for his job is evident in every interaction. Please just ask him for anything you need or want to know- he is so happy to help. We enquired about visiting a local school to donate supplies and Kosal not only recommended such a wonderful school but also took us there personally in his very precious time off and introduced us to his family. We highly recommend!!

Great cheap hotel with nice pool!
Reviewed By G2KpaulyI ended up staying here 5 nights and it was perfect and clean. I enjoyed the pool every day. Swim at 12 when sun is out! I had a nice Belcony, a nice clean room, a hot shower and the location is perfect. They clean your room daily if needed and supply 2 bottles of water a day. Next time in Kampot I'll be back here!

Unfortunately you could hear the noise from the neighbors as if they were sitting in your room, but nevertheless the location of baraca is superb-central and very close to all restaurants and the river. For my taste a little bit expensive for what you get as the accommodation is quite basic. Would stay there again for one or two nights! And love their tapas bar downstairs!

Bandini's is a small guesthouse (5bedrooms), very quiet with a big garden. We are situated closed to the new bridge (5min from market, 10min from city center). We offer bicycle for free, restaurant from 7am to 3pm, and many services as tours, bus/but ticket, moto rental. Our staff is at you disposition from 7am to 9pm.

Pippali Boutique Hotel is ideally located along the riverside and a short walk from Kampot city centre. Enjoy the view of the Teuk Chhou River and the Bokor Mountain while relaxing in our beautiful garden or at the swimming pool. The large 8 rooms are tastefully furnished with some pieces designed by the owner’s brother, an architect, giving a unique and personal touch to the place. All rooms have a terrace or a balcony with a view on the garden and the overflowing seawater swimming pool, the only one in town.

Reviewed By Q2545QHpaulcGood modern hotel in the middle of Kampot. Good central location, close to all the amenities. Small plot with reasonable sized pool and surrounding small garden areas. Staff were pleasant and helpful and tried their best to overcome the problems encountered. Rooms were a reasonable size, clean and comfortable. Food was good but menu was limited and the kitchen was shut one day because the chef was on his day off! Bar closed early each evening (Lack of demand - common in Kampot) Downside - screaming kids in the pool early in the morning. But the big turn off was the tuneless/ heavy bass karaoke and dance music from surrounding bars. One morning this didn't finish until 3am. Not much staff could do about this short term but they did allow us to move room to one further away from the noise - which did help a bit.
