Hostal Cienfuegos Sunrise is located in the historic center of the city, just 250 meters from Paseo Prado. Our house is located very close to the most important and popular tourist attractions of the city. The house was built in 1940 and maintains its structure with high ceilings, at this time it is completely restored. The colonial style combined with all modern comforts guarantees privacy and comfort to guests. The house has a pleasant family atmosphere, good service, cleanliness and security. The owners are professionals, Maide is an Industrial Engineer and Jonnys is a Mechanical Engineer, they will be happy to welcome you. At home three quiet and comfortable rooms are rented; one on the ground floor and the other on the top floor with views of the city. Each with private bathroom, central water heater for bathrooms, air conditioning, refrigerator, safe, windows, fan, 110/220 V, hair dryer, umbrella among other facilities. Our guests can enjoy their favorite book, smoke a cigar, have a drink or just watch an incredible sunrise or sunset on our terraces. The house has several terraces with beautiful views of the city. In one of them you can see the city at 360 degrees, and an area for sunbathing. They offer: English language proficiency, guided tours, laundry service, private taxi, body massage, Spanish and dance classes, WIFI only 200 meters away, car parking and other services. The hosts will provide you with all the information about the city and the advice you need about the main tourist attractions that you can visit. I ate breakfast and dinner. They offer pretty fast wifi ($1/hour) in the lobby and dining room. The location is convenient. I slept like a baby both nights.

Reviewed By IAN LWelcomed with a useful map and brochure of services. Nice big room with fridge full of water, beer, wine and soft drinks. First floor room with terrace for hanging out with all that beer. Access to the town centre is by tuctuc (350 Jawa if interested) at 100 CUP/person each way (£1). Locally there were a couple of bars/restaurants but we chose to eat at the casa and that was a very good choice. The outside terrace reaches the water edge so the Shirley Valentine table was our choice. Excellent Pina Coladas. Some of th best food on the trip. Good rate on CUP exchange too.

With his welcoming "we love Kiwis" we felt instantly we'd found the best place in Cienfuegos. After a very stressful time with the other accommodation, it was a relief to be welcomed, with a mojito; a friendly, clean, & comfortable Casa. We sat in the courtyard as the sun went down, and had a few relaxing drinks (Best Mojito we had in Cuba) 1 room, with 2 large beds and ensuite bathroom. The second room had one large bed, and a single bed, and ensuite bathroom Our breakfast in the morning was amazing. Fruit, Eggs, Bread, & Coffee. We will never forget the amazing hospitality, and will stay again in the future.

You can order excellent breakfasts and dinners. The guys also helped us to organize a great trip to Trinidad, a transfer from the airport to Casa, a taxi with a guide to El Nicho, a taxi to Havana and all this for good money. Thank you for your help! The casa is very cozy, clean, quiet, with its own courtyard. This is the first time I've seen such beautiful and kind people! We really want to go back to Cuba and meet Robe and Chabe again!

Eating dinner here was wonderful and delicious, above all the amazing Jose adds a pleasant and fun atmosphere. We were happy to stay here and we will definitely return when we return to Cuba again

Our house is modern, with three floors, it is located in the center of the city, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We are only 20 m from the sea, the Malecón and the Paseo del Prado. We live very close to the Historical Center, World Heritage Site. In our environment there are the restaurants Doña Nora, El Ocaso, the Big Bang coffee shop. You can also reach on foot only 20 minutes to the Chalet del Valle, Club Cienfuegos, Cabaret Costa Sur, recreational and nocturnal centers. The Vía Azul bus station for foreign tourists is located a short distance from the airport, it is only 15 minutes by car

Probably the best in cuba
Reviewed By MaalrronI don't think it's possible to find a more welcoming family. They were totally in love with our 1 1/2 yo boy and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and accomodate the needs of a toddler. The place is a casa particular but it's kinda halfway with a hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are good and clean, airconditioning and fans are working well and relatively quiet, no hot water issues and the breakfast is worth the price! You can also ask for a meal in advance and it is amazing. We accidentally happened to have it on my birthday and it ended up being on the house! Those people are very generous and helpful, provided you speak a little bit of Spanish. If you don't, the downstairs neighbor can help. And those guys are equally generous and welcoming. It's well located, with a bakery and pharmacy at the corner, 2 streets from the viazul bus station, and tricycles and horse carriages pass by the adjacent streets regularly so you can go around pretty easily, but the main street is only a few minutes walk from the hostel. I would definitely go back there if I go back to Cienfuegos.

They welcomed me with warmth and were enthusiastic in providing me beverage and dinners. Chef is a good cook comparable with those at restaurants.
