The Villa was built between 1894 and 1897 following the vision of a well-known architect - Eugène Jost, right in front of the Leman Lake. It offers a privileged point of view on the Dents du Midi. Travelling through Switzerland to N Italy, we had a stop in Lugano. In Ticino, the city of Lugano surprised us with very nive museum exhibiting Expressionist art. Gabriele and Anna Braglia collected a series of expressionist paintings (Nolde, Kandinsky, Marc, Werefkin, and others) and we found joy in visiting 2018 Autumn exhibition of Braglia collection in collaboration with Henning collection. Very well composed, in high quality space. Take a look at the stairs, also.
