Good Value and Great Atmosphere
Reviewed By ChristopherAllenThe hotel is a bit outside the main tourists areas of Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, but it's also a bit cheaper than the hotels directly in these seaside villages. The decor is a bit quirky. The Viking motif hits you in the face with the reception desk as a Viking sailing vessel. The hotel has gone through several renovations since the GDR times. The charm of the GDR is still present, though, in its thinly disguised Plattenbau architecture. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they are adequate, and the beds aren't uncomfortable. All in all, it fits the bill of a 3=star hotel in Germany. Think Ibis. What lifts this hotel a bit from its 3-star rating is its breakfast buffet (lots of variety for such a small hotel) and its beautifully landscaped terrace. If you don't see a parking place in front of the hotel, no worries. There's a parking lot behind the hotel, but you'll need an access card from reception. The ladies at the reception were so friendly. Always a plus.

Relaxing hotel in a nice location
Reviewed By partyof5travelWe stayed at the Inselhof VINETA for 3 nights. We enjoyed our peaceful, relaxing stay here. I was traveling with 3 children and found this hotel treated my children very well. Each morning during breakfast we had the same cheerful server who would greet my children and bring them hot chocolate. During our evening meal the waiter brought our children bubbles. It really felt like we were staying with family or friends rather than a hotel, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook or prepare picnics to go if we wanted. Grocery stores are plentiful and there are several to choose from nearby. We received beach passes for a beach nearby but despite placing the parking pass we were given on our car dash, we still received two parking tickets, which was confusing. Despite that, the beach was perfect. This hotel also has a wellness center with fitness center, sauna and jazuzzi spa, which we didn't use. The children enjoyed the bounce house and playing at the on site parks. Breakfast in the morning is one of the best I have had at a hotel. This was an all around good choice and I highly recommend staying here,

Reviewed By kbbs20Die Pension liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und sehr nett. Die Frühstücksauswahl war gut und Sonderwünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Das Zimmer war einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.
