We had a good day visiting Vlissingen and Goes, but now we were hungry. We walked around the Grote Markt, where several restaurants were located and we found one that gave vegetarian options. We sat down outside and for once no one smoked around us. What a relief! The server came immediately and took care of us the whole time. We had a great view on the Grote Markt and enjoyed the sun shining around us. I had ordered linguine with mushrooms as well as a salad. It was delicious! There was a lot of food on my plate! Wow! We choose the right restaurant! The price of the dishes were quite fair. At least now I know of a good place to eat in the Netherlands.P.S. The restaurant is located at the former Post Office.

op een heerlijke warme middag geluncht bij Sas1. mosselen gegeten, heerlijk! met zeekraal en diverse sausjes en friet.lekker op terras gezeten met uitzicht op jachthaven.de bediening was volgens ons geheel nieuw, deed hun uiterste best maar het liep nog niet vlekkeloos. maar alle begin is moeilijk en ieder moet een kans krijgen. bediening was vriendelijk. het duurde even voordat drankjes werden gebracht.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The service was not always that good, first of they forgot to hand us over a dessert and forgot to bring the second drink. The staff is quite young but they did their upmost best. And it was not annoying, they apologised for the fact they did not give us the menu, it had it's reasons. Because person #1 could not seat us he asked person #2, however person #2 (who seated us) was not actually serving our part/table. So the one who should (person #3) was not really aware we had not ordered yet. Anyway, no problem at all. The food compensated most of that, we had a soup (soup of the day) as a starter which was a good portion and very tasty. Main was a local steak and a stew made of the local steak. Very tasty and very well portioned. I've substituted the fries for some French bread and had a good meal. Dessert was crème Brule and a ice-cream with red fruit and whipped cream. Ambiance is ok for a place like this (it is situated on a camping ground). Nothing wrong with any of it and we had a very good stay. Full stomachs and a good evening.

It is modern with a taste of old. Wood, iron, glass, it all offers an industrial romantic look. High up is a beer brewery, visible from downstairs. If you visit Goes youâll have to have a nice dinner here. You will not be disappointed. Good food, friendly servants.
