This is an elegant restaurant, good for both small & big groups, weddings & pretty much any type of event.
The food here is excellent, offers both traditional dishes & european dishes, prices are quite high for Zalau area, but compared to other locations (Bucharest for example), they are not among the highest.

We chose this restaurant because previous experience had been good. Unfortunately our experience on this occasion was very poor. There was a good selection of food however, it took an age to be served. One of our party received soup as starter which arrived at the table cold. The remaining starters eventually arrived and were very uninspiring or cold. The main courses were served after a long wait but arrived cold. The waiter seemed surprised that we asked for the food to be reheated! We complained about the poor experience but this fell on very deaf ears. Woukd definitely not recommend!

The atmosphere here is friendly and inviting. The food was excellent, very fresh and withgreat flavor. For sure a place to not miss. Would highly recommend!

I can say it was one of the best pizza's I ate. The price is a little high, but the taste is fantastic.
I also liked the rustic design; the staff was friendly, the music was nice.
What I don't like is that there is no place for non-smokers.

It's a quiet restaurant, clean, with many locals go there. I love meeting locals! They served excellent Italian food. I ordered spaghetti aglio olio, which came in a huge plate, and it was excellent. My partner ordered pizza, which also very delicious. I think they offer home Delivery also. If I ever have the chance to visit Zalau, I will definitely come there again!

We stopped for lunch, so we ordered the lunch menu, a salad, a lemonade and a beer. Both waiters seemed confused and service was chaotic. Also, it took longer than normal as our waiter forgot to bring the second course and after we reminded him we found two second courses on the bill. Food was also dull and uninspired and we received another salad than the one we ordered. Bad experience.

This quaint bistro is run by three sisters who are passionate about what they do. Great food made from fresh ingredients at decent prices in a wonderful atmosphere makes for an amazing experience. If you are in Zalau this is the number one spot to grab a bite with friends or have a tasty desert.

Very good restaurant, not crowded, elegant for such a city. Complimentary starters. Tasty food, quick service, nice waiters/bartenders. Not pricey. Large choice. Excellent home made placinta (with a lot of vanilla sauce). it is located in a connecting corridor, with access from the main street but also from the street of the marketplace (parking options available here).
