Yaroslavl Bed and Breakfast Inns | Places to Stay in Yaroslavl

May 10, 2023 Velvet Champine

Bordered by the Kotorosl and Volga rivers, the historic city center of Yaroslavl is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The religious architecture is breathtaking and surreal, especially the emerald-domed Church of Elijah the Prophet and the gilded towers of the Assumption Cathedral. Numerous theaters, a philharmonic, a planetarium and a permanent circus round out the city’s art scene. Keep an eye on the time: Every hour on the hour, the proud namesake of the Monument to Bear statue gives a triumphant roar.

A nice three-star facility.

Reviewed By Sergey K

We saw very positive reviews by TripAdvisor followers and never regretted our choice. This is just what you'd expect from a three-star hotel - good location in the downtown, guarded parking (for three cars, less than five bucks a day!!!), extremely clean everywhere inside, cozy rooms, decent breakfast and SMILES. Yes, smiles in the country where they are not a mask for every passer-by but a treasured souvenir. It's an old wholly-renovated early XXth century mansion with no elevator - but with a huge bellboy (actually, a bellgiant) so no worries. Rooms are different, take ## 12, 13 (our choice) and 14 - they are the coziest. One can mention among disadvantages few sockets, a powerless hair-dryer, lack of rugs on the (plastic) floor and sound insulation which leaves much to be desired if the property is packed. Don't be disapponted to find no slippers and bathrobes in your room, just inform the staff and they'll be fetched at a symbolic price. Some reviews in Russian say that windows are not that cold-proof but this was not our experience. To make a long story short - a sound three-star thingamejig. We'd return there. And - yes! - you may book not just a room but a concrete number.

Pretty hotel.

Reviewed By ivan_shilov

The hotel is located in a quiet center. Ten minutes from the Yaroslavl Kremlin. The hotel does not have its own parking, but there is free public parking right in front of the entrance. Our room was not stylish but was large enough, had everything we needed and had a very high ceiling. The staff is polite and the price was good for a large room with a fairly basic breakfast.

Volzhskaya Zhemchuzhina Hotel

Ideal central location with views of the river Volga allows guests to feel thousands miles away from noise and fuss! The hotel is remarkable for its charm, exquisite cuisine, high service level and personal attention towards every guest. Its architecture combines harmonically both traditions and modernity.Original decoration of the rooms, a wide range of exclusive cloths, accessories and a picture gallery with wonderful views of Yaroslavl - all that creates luxurious and comfortable atmosphere.

Likable hotel with friendly staff, quiet, idyllic yet central location and somewhat dated infrastructure

Reviewed By MaAnDoAl

We felt comfortable and well taken care of. English-speaking staff at reception is helpful and made an effort. Ample quiet outdoor space on the river added some magic to sunny late summer afternoons. Location is great for relaxing as well as sightseeing. Breakfast buffet is straightforward but sufficient. Room and bathroom were clean but this is not a luxury property; some renovations and makeovers could turn it into something special. Note: luggage has to be hauled up a steep staircase. Would go there again

Chic boutique cosy

The place is a beautiful boutique property in a quiet lane of Yaroslavl yet walking distance to the City Center. The room we got was lovely, spacious and with it's own balcony overlooking the street. HK was neat and clean. Restaurant stewardess always smiling and breakfast spread not too big but ticking all boxes. Staff was helpful but non intrusive. I must mention the young intern lady at FO who is an asset because she speaks English... Having said that-the entire FO staff was eager to assist. I found the property much better than commercial big hotels because of it's boutique feel but professional management. Highly recommend

Good enough for a business trip

Reviewed By henning-in-OL

This business hotel is located at the outskirts of town. Next to a truck stop and truck repair shop and across the Yarpivo brewery. It caters to the large foreign companies with branches in Yaroslavl. Besides the hotel there's no infrasructure like restaurants, bars, shops etc. There's a small kiosk next to the brewery. If you want to explore town there are better hotels conviniently located in downtown. Don't expect too much from this self-claimed "leader of service industrie in Y." ....That's still a long way to go. Good thing is the hotel is from 2009 (according to the type plate in the elevator :-) ) . That means is still in good condition and not run down. Due to the isolated location there are a also no hookers in the bar. Thank god! The fitnessroom has some newer equipment but that needs some maintance as well. No desinfectant or paper towels to wipe the equipment. For a quick work out good enough. Bring CD or MP3 ...the CDs in the stereo suck... Most reception staff have enough English knowledge to get by. Don't expect that from the rest of the staff, especially the waiter and waitresses....catastrophy... Rooms are big enough for a longer stay. Clean!!! Incl. the bathroom. Don't worry about the enviroment. Even if you hang up the towels you'll get fresh ones...:-( Internet access ist fast and reliable and for free with no pasword. Rooms facing the road ´will get the noise from the street in front. Especially heavy trucks...

good for 1 night if your expections are low

Reviewed By focus1965

Yaroslavl is a typical small Russian city: the choise of hotels is low and prices are too expensive for the quality and the place. This hotel offered a price of +/- 55 euro for 1 night, which is still expensive if you compare with simular cities in Europe. The first problem is to search out where this hotel can be: google maps doesn't work in this city, but Yandex is a good alternative. The hotel is located in the city, but even with explanations, you will never find it from the first time. It's located in a very big building (with at least 2 entrances) where many appartments and other offices are located. There is no indication that you will find a hotel and only with experience you know that you need to take stairs to find somewhere higher a receiption! I was lucky that the girl understood enough English to help me and show the room: this is a part of a typical communist Russian appartment and the own bathroom is outside of your bedroom. However, I can't complain: bed and furniture are ok and the shower and w.c. is western standard: this is really good! Breakfast is included, but with 1 or 2 slices of bread and no butter, I can't say it's a succes: this is - again - the old Russian way to treath guests. When I checked out, I asked to leave the luggage the whole day: the woman didn't understand my request, search and found a man in military uniform, which took my luggage, go down and put it in the street! This is not a real hotel and indeed a guesthouse. The big exception was the young girl when I checked in, but I really didn't feel me treathed as a guest. Creditcards are not accepted and many papers show you that you must pay cash. A good point is that they do the necessary for official registration. For 1 night you can use this hotel (or guesthouse), but for a longer stay I advice to go somewhere else.

First of all I thought it would be a hotel as it was advertised, it's more a big house with 6 rooms. Don't expect any services , 2 floors by walk as no lift , big room very kitch I will say with massive jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom . Breakfast very poor ... Instant coffee only or tea, few cereals, yogurt and toast, nothing fancy. Theere are better in the city, such Ibis hotel . And price was higher than advertised on trip advisor, I paid 150$ per night.
