Reviewed By Robert322The hotel is nice and the staff friendly even they are overworked and during the breakfast and the amount of people exhaust. The rooms are comfortable and nice but no air conditioning. As for the dinner at the buffet 26 Euro per person is way too much and for the children there is no reduction which is a pity. So outside food is recommended in the several bearbeiten restaurants. Beside the hotel is a hot water bath with outdoor swimming which is excellent maintained and free for Hotel guests. It’s not a hotel for having fun and children easy get bored since there is not even a playground for them. More older people and Pensionisten are here. The surroundings are nice but not much site seeing available. A trip to Karlovy Vary is recommenced and not far away. All in all nice and quite.

Reviewed By JR_CirpkaThis definitely is a place where you get good value for money. The breakfast gives you quite some choices, the lady in charge is very friendly. You can sit nicely on a terrace in the backyard, get a beer from the fridge and enjoy. Two things to consider... Firstly the limitted choices to go our for dining in Wolkenstein - check for openingtimes and make reservations if you wish to leave your car in the parkinglot. Secondly the quite high steps to the first and second floor where the rooms are. Not everyones knees will like them

Reviewed By Dirk SSaubere Zimmer .nette Gastgeber .Das Hotel ist ideal für Wanderfreunde und zum Erholen..Sehr gute Küche ,wo die Chefin noch selber kocht.Alles sehr lecker ( Hausmannskost ).In der Nähe befindet sich ein Thermalbad mit Sauna.

Quiet hotel in idyllic location
Reviewed By GerlindRSet in the woodlands outside the pretty little town of Wolkenstein in Saxonia's Ore Mountains, this little family run hotel offers good value with nicely furnished and comfortable rooms. The "Erzgebirge" is probably world-famous through its much-loved traditional wood-carved Christmas decorations although I don't know how many people outside Germany know that this mountain range and its little towns and villages is their place of origin. Hotel Waldmuehle is a good location from which to explore the region - there is enough to see to merit more than a few days' stay - and for those who like mountain hiking or biking, it is ideally placed. And if you are tired of the outdoors, there is the most fabulous thermal spa resort called "Silbertherme" nearby!
