Family run hotel with an excellent restraurant

The hotel is located on a road but we had a room at the back of the hotel which was very quiet and we had a wonderful view from our window. We ate an excellent meal in the hotel, Not only was the food very good biut the service too. Very recommendable

Great location within the forest!
Reviewed By DoffaThis pension is in a very quiet setting overlooking the rolling hills of the Siegerland and right behind it, is a forest which is nice for a walk. I had the suite and it was great. Huge sitting area with sofa and chairs. Kitchen quite well equipped and a dining table for up to six persons inside the room. Actually it is more like a loft type apartment. WiFi worked very well. Breakfast was plenty with a good choice of german "wurst". I can fully recommend this pension as an excellent alternative to the hotels in Siegen (the next major town).

Great alternative to staying in Cologne
Reviewed By Nancy HWe needed one night on the way home through Cologne. We wanted to visit Cologne, but hotels overpriced in the city. This hotel/guest house about one hour away in the countryside was just right. The landlady was very friendly on arrival and helped us by booking local restaurant for dinner. Rooms good size, but need more pillows! Breakfast was excellent - buffet supplemented with cooked eggs and bacon - and she pressed us to make up rolls with cheese and meats for our lunch.

Authentic hotel in a nice village
Reviewed By Henk HA nice quiet authentic hotel in a nice village. Room was sufficiënt and clean. Not big but enough space. Good food and friendly service. I was by motor and they helped me with a good place to park the motor.
