Winter rates are $89, summer rates (min 2 night stay on weekends) are $119 plus tax based on double occupancy. Can accommodate trailers, big rigs, etc. All rooms are non-smoking. Inquire about pets. Valid credit card required for reservations.
Ok, but don’t expect amenities.
Reviewed By panthrburrFound this place after getting off the ferry. Rooms looked nice and the person at reception, Alice, was pleasant. Went for dinner at her suggestion, returned to settle in for the night. First off, no wifi password and not provided at check in. Second, tv cable box didn’t work nor was the internet connected to the smart tv. Beds are hard like you’re lying on plywood. Trying to reach someone for help was no good as no answer despite a couple messages and another number at the front office door was not responded to either. (Eventually did receive the password but it was wrong.) Price was jacked as the whole area had an influx of travellers during the May long weekend. Price gouging, much? Room was big, clean, floors were laminate instead of carpet, a good idea. Fridge, microwave, heater/ac unit all functional. If you’re heading North toward Wiarton and have no other options I’d say it’s ok in a pinch. Otherwise just drive on by.

The Waterview is a 4-acre waterfront resort/motel located on the shores of Georgian Bay minutes from the town of Wiarton on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. There is a variety of rooms to choose from, some even have fireplaces and in-room Jacuzzis with private decks - all overlooking the bay, add a heated in ground outdoor pool, fully equipped banquet hall for special events such as weddings, evening bonfires, and hosts that go out of their way to please!
A very pleasant stay
Reviewed By Tina DWe were only here one night but would definitely stay here again. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would like to see is more parking. The grounds are quite large and could easily accommodate this.

Reviewed By 155breeannabIf I could give this place less than one star… I WOULD!!! The good reviews on this motel are written by the owners family and friends. The owner is a SCAMMER. Watch out for this place. They WILL attempt to overcharge you. They will also promise to return your deposit but will make you go through hell to get it back. They do not want to pay any taxes either, and will make this very clear to you. I now see it is for a reason. This is NOT a family motel. In addition, - NO breakfast as promised, and as included in the price - No cleaning service. Cleaning is done by the guest - absolutely disgusting - FREEZING rooms and a very hazardous floor heater to compensate, where they have curtain hanging over (as shown in photos) - Gone bad coffee creamer which curdled as soon as it touched the cup of coffee - Coffee Pots covered in grime, unusable completely - Would not allow us more than four (4) pillows in our room and two (2) blankets despite the freezing room temperatures. We had 3 people in our room. - Their pillows and blankets are THIN. I have better pillows at home. Their towels looked used and dirty I would not feel safe to use them - NO BREAKFAST AS PROMISED. They will claim it is due to covid, although they still include the breakfast price in your room fee LOTS OF HIDDEN FEES - These people WILL scam you if you aren’t careful, this place is completely unsafe and unsanitary. - Took the bath tub plugs from us so that we would “not use too much water” was their exact wording - Absolutely disgusting lobby please see photos. Their children’s toys are littered everywhere in the motel. Unsafe for elderly people and disabled people - No lighting in the outside hall which also doubles as the fire escape apparently - Lobby smelt like human feces!!! ETC, ETC, ETC!!! A NIGHTMARE! WIARTON WILLIE INN DOWN THE STREET IS CHEAPER AND MAINTAINED MUCH BETTER. This reminds me of a slum hotel people go to to party, owners included. We listened to them party until 3 a.m… No sleep or breakfast, and almost got scammed. These people will do ANYTHING to not pay taxes. Reported to better business bureau! ASAP.

Reviewed By X5654CZkellybWe were 3 couples who stopped in with motorcycles and the rooms were exactly what we needed. Clean and comfortable with nice patio area, we really enjoyed ourselves. Beds are fresh and cozy with soft pillows. Shower pressure is perfect. I’d stay again!

Set against a backdrop of cedar and hardwood bush, just a short walk to a spectacular view of Georgian Bay, The Spirit Rock Lodge has 11 units. 7 units have 2 double beds and 4 feature 2 queen beds and a pull out futon. All rooms lend the feeling of heading to the cottage for some needed time away. In each room you will find a fridge, A.C., and walkout to the backyard playground with barbecues, an outdoor kitchen and fire pits. There is a common kitchenette area which any guest may use at any time and select rooms contain microwaves.A continental breakfast of fresh muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee is served in the Outpost each morning.

Reviewed By Relax43426730336Richie has been a very pleasant man both on phone when making reservations and in person. We stayed here on Sept 27 and 28, 2019. Wifi was good, tv channels good. Fire place nice for the evenings when getting back . Everyone seemed to appreciate and thanked Him each morning, he does make great coffee. He seemed knowledgeable of the area for being new owners for a year. We will stay here again, just for the fact he is a good person, and is providing for his children's future. His daughter has many beautiful paintings displayed on wall in which she has done. No one would know that unless the conversation was brought up which is how I found out by just asking about his family.

Reviewed By SquatchbeefGreat beach, water views and memories. Stayed in a cabin with friends and enjoyed the campfire each night. I would definitely stay here again. Very close to Tobemory, Sauble Falls, caves and Owen Sound.

Reviewed By Atefeh SHad real great time there. Very cozy. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Beautiful solarium for quiet time. Nice outdoor fire under the beautiful starry sky. Tasty breakfast. More to all a very friendly host who was real kind to share all information about the area including the activities, sightseeings and great restaurants around. We'll happily visit again.

Reviewed By Don WI have stayed at this location about 3 years ago when Raymond was the owner. At that time, it was a very good location for a couple of nights. Price quoted last year were about twice what I had paid previously. However, there is now no answer then emails are sent, and every booking site shows contact the location. I believe the motel is now closed but has not updated their website.
