Visited 'Katarkura' last week and enjoyed our visit.Nice, clean setting with a tv for sports, a good bar with various taps, and friendly service by the owner. That said, only two beers were pouring when we visited. The golden ale and the amber were both decent, but we were all curious about their 'big IPA' and hoping to taste.Maybe next time...

Santa Cruz is small and still somewhat behind the curb in the infrastructure to support tourists. On Sunday evenings there are only two restaurants open in town where you can have dinner. Our guides recommend the Noi Blend restaurant which is located in this small hotel. The property is simple and rustic but modern, with a small dining room. We had a great meal here which was a prix fix with a couple of choices for each course. They were able to accommodate my friend who is vegetarian, after our guide spoke with the chef in spanish. The meal was very good and the service was friendly and attentive. The prix fix menu also included one glass of house wine. Sorry don't remember the cost but it was very reasonable.

Had a delicious dinner here after wine tasting nearby at Ventisquero! It was obviously a very new place but felt really cozy & inviting. Great service and menus/service in English (unfortunately our Spanish is very limited). We shared a steak and a few sides, everything was perfect. Extensive local wine list, and a bonus of dining in the Colchagua valley is the very fair pricing for a bottle of wine - similar to what you'd pay for the bottle at the vineyard! Highly recommend for travelers visiting this area.

Word of mouth is not out yet because they are open only a month. They are about 5 or 10 minutes from downtown. We were the first to arrive for dinner this evening. Very friendly greeting and attentive service. They helped with recommendations and descriptions. We were not disappointed and the food was excellent. All three of us loved our meals. Octopus-very tender; corvina wrapped in veggies; lentil salad. The deco is very country. We will eat here again if we go back to Santa Cruz.

Place is nice, well decorated and with a great view. The concept of the restaurant does not match with the idea that it is placed inside a winery! Dishes are so simply and with taste of blah. Nothing impressive and very disconnected with wines. I did not see any someliere or any guide of pair your dish with a tasty wine and say “it worth”. Definetively, I will not come back.Dear rodri_gop21,Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion about your experience with us. It's always important to analice every comment our customers offer, specially when we haven't been able to conquer their preference. We feel this is the best way to keep moving forward in the path of continuos improvement. Our restaurant offers a menu that looks to show the quality of every ingredient, carefully chosen by our Chef. We have designed every dish thinking about the best pairing with our wines. We will thoroughly check our service protocols, to make sure our staff is advising our customers about the best food and wine pairing choice. As you've said, our restaurant should be totally connected with the wines. Please honor us by coming back in the future. We will make our best effort to change your mind and finally gain your preference.Best regards.
