was recommended by friends to visit this fish and chip shop, went at lunch time it was busy but got seats inside, a large menu but being of an age went for the pensioners special,fish chips peas and a pot of tea, a splendid meal.dry crispy chips and batter to die for. it can get full but you can eat outside if the weather is ok. parking onsite as well.

Well look no further if you want to taste the best fish and chips in anglesey!! Iv been coming for years now and iv tried many others local chippies and this one is by far the most freindlest/cleanest/reliable/ and most importantly the fish itself is to die for! The staff are very friendly and kind. Brought my family here my friends here..im forever passing the word on for the best around!! Never had any problems. Very well priced!!! Trust me...this is one of them shops you can smell a mile away and gets your taste buds going and you'll always go back for more! Take my advice and try for yourself. My regular for years.. 10/10 for there service.

I visited The Ring with my family and friends to round off a fabulous day sightseeing on Anglesey and what a treat? Everything was first class - the welcome, the staff (despite there only being 3 of them: chef, pot-wash and barmaid/waitress/wonderwoman), rhe ambiance, the locals (and their many dogs) and the food. I can definitely recommend the whitebait, kids pesto pasta, fish and chips and the sticky toffee pudding, which is unlike any you will have tried before. If you do go, remember to take a book to swap at their mini library and if you haven't got a dog, I suggest you borrow one and take it along for some "doggy ale!!"Dear ReviewerThank you for taking the time to review us. We had food for a family of 5 - 3 adults and 2 children. It was all cooked to order, so was fresh and there was enough for all of us.However the âmushy peasâ were inedible, water & tasteless.Quite a lot of the chips just had not been cooked through and you could taste raw potato.The fish lacked flavour and the batter was bland.All in all a pretty poor meal, most of which we left and it wasnât cheap for what it was.Could NOT recommend this- which is a shame as it is the only local chippy - but poor quality, being undercooked and little taste make it a no go!

Stopped here whilst looking around the port have been a few times before and always nice, simple food but nevertheless always a good visit so thought I would post a review this time !Very friendly staff giving us directions to the creek and we had a bacon sandwich and a sausage sandwhich, both of which were lovely.We will be back !

We have just stayed here for 2 nights B&B, all the staff are very friendly, Veronica and Gary are great hosts, everything in the hotel went very smooth, from check in to checking out, the food in the restaurant is exceptional especially the mixed sea food grill, plenty of choice at the bar, we highly recommend,

the window table in glorious sea view was very welcome. the sunday lunch was excellent. lovely little starter but the carvery was superb. fabulous turkey, beef, gammon all roasted to perfection and carved by a lovely chef. then roasties, roasted parsnips, cauli cheese and carrots, stuffing, a fantastic gravy, and a surprise once we had sat down with our plates piled high, that they placed huge dishes of brocoli, cauli and a huge dish of mash , on the table. all for next to nothing. fabulous

Worth the wait very busy cafe on the edge of the village great staff and great food to match would recommend and we would go back next time we are playing at the Bull Bay golf club thatâs around Ten mins walk away

The good folks at Lastra Farm never let you down when it comes to a quality meal. The service is second to none and all the staff seem happy in their work which is nice to see. The food is of the highest standard and quality. It really is a treat to visit and eat here. Highly recommended.

What a treasure to have found.The staff are friendly, professional and discreet.The food is absolutely fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised at the range and prices.I enjoyed a Posh Fish Finger Butty (from the 'Lunchtime Specials' menu). I would happily have paid up to £10 for this. The fish was delicious and the portion size was generous. We also ordered a 10oz gammon steak which was exceptional. My partner would have easily paid double, if not more for this. Brilliantly cooked and an incredibly generous portion, again.In short, every single meal we had was superb. The quality, portion size and service are faultless.Thank you, we'll definitely be back. We're already messaging all of our friends and family to come and pay a visit!
