Dopo una visita molto gradevole all Hotel l anno scorso , riceviamo con piacere una newsletter che annuncia l apertura del Bistrot.Proviamo a prenotare via email senza mai ricevere risposta. Lasciamo un messaggio in segreteria senza mai essere richiamati. Finalmente riusciamo a parlarci e prenotiamo un tavolo per essere poi richiamati poche ore prima di cena con la brutta notizia che il servizio non sarebbe stato più disponibile ( non entro nei particolari per educazione). Francamente inaccettabile e non all altezza dell ospitalità ricevuta la volta prima.

Unexpected. Stopped at this restaurant by accident and we enjoyed a great lunch in a friendly and effcient atmosphere. We chose the "antipasti" menu and the "pasta trio" and both were excellent and tasty. The raw fish was fresh. Had a superb 414 Morellino di Scansano (best buy). Outdoor in summer & great parking. A must go.

Needed something to eat, so decided to lunch in this touristy place... normally we avoid places like this but this time experience went good for all of us⦠Colorful decorations, organized, nice views of Talamone in the piazza. Lobster fettucini at 20.00 each pal, came quite abundant, the same for salad. There are pizza servings if wanted. Bill at 58.00. Well organized.

What a lovely place! Having been down in this region for a few days now the restaurants are all geared towards fish for obvious reasons. Our kids prefer meat and pasta though so after a few days of pizza in Orbotello we were looking for something else suitable. Asked our concierge who just kept suggesting pizzerias .......and then I found this wonderful place on TA saw the positive reviews and thought we'd try it. Turned up and almost drove away.....the restaurant faces out onto a dusty carpark that looks over a motorway/main road on a back street in Albinia. My husband wasn't keen but once we got out of the car it looked nice once you got within the restaurant area. Lovely outside tables that are screened off from the carpark. It was quiet when we first arrived but within 20 mins the place was bustling with lots of Italian family's and groups and had a great atmosphere. Inside the restaurant it's like a deli full of meats and cheeses and wines. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even though we couldn't speak Italian they tried hard to help us understand the menu etc. Simple but delicious menu of meat and cheeses for antipasti, soups, fabulous pasta dishes, mainly meat second courses. My husband was sold on it when he asked for the wine menu and was told by the very pleasant waiter there was no menu just red or white wine!! When we said red he asked us to trust him and asked what kind of wine we liked...... we got a lovely "light" red for about â¬14 per bottle. We had a great meal and I think we will definitely go back again before we leave. The atmosphere is so nice. Reasonable prices as antipasti, mains, puddings, wine, coffee and even a cheeky dessert wine came to about â¬120 for a family of 5. Try it as it's been the best meal we've had in this region so far.

Da lui mangi solo pesce pescato da lui in giornata con un prezzo davvero modico per la qualità e quantità data! Tornerò sicuramente! Paolo è un vero protettore del nostro malato mare! Non mollare!!!

Ristorante veramente eccezionale.Dalla location alla cucina passando per lo staff che rende tutto ancora più accogliente.Tutti i piatti sono veramente buonissimi.Il posto è suggestivo e rilassante. Circondato da alberi di pino, il silenzio che vi circonda, le stelle sopra di voi e musica di sottofondo che renderà la vostra cena ancora più speciale.Abbiamo cenato qui diverse sere uno dei piatti da me preferiti è là mousse di mozzarella con sopra un aringa spagnola. Per non parlare degli antipasti di pesce crudo e dei secondi.. ne vale veramente la pena.Grazie mille allo staff Carlos e yami che hanno accolto me e la mia bimba come a casa. Consigliatissimo ci torneremo sicuramente anche solo per assaporare un bicchiere di vino fronte piscina nella pace del luogo.

For a cheap dinner this place was recommended⦠take away style, some people might complain about the use of plastic cutlery, paper tablecloth ecc. but this is a âgastronomiaâ not a restaurant, trattoria or whatever that provides full table service. Look at the menu, go to the cashier, order whatever wanted, give your last name (or name like Starbucks) self-serve needed items (cutlery), look for any empty spot, sit and wait to be paged⦠we had oven-cooked piglet (9,00), mushroom and farro soup (7,00), a platter of cured meat cuts (5,00), slice of cake (3,00), water (1,50), wine (7,00). There was a fox wandering for food among all commensals which kids enjoyed to feed.

After dinner, we had in this restaurant, I was bit disappointed. Being with the larger group we order many different dishes. Same of them were very good, like grilled octopus, but some pastas were very average. Anyway the atmosphere is nice and the service good.

What a jewel hidden in the golden archers. This farm restaurant serves home cooked food made by everything and anything their farm produces. Cheeses, hams, salamis, vegetables, tomatoes so sweet that you never thought you've tasted anything so sweet, pasta and meat dishes. You get what they prepare so perhaps let them know in advance if you don't eat pig/meat dishes. Accompanied with a local wine and water - Your meal is compete!! The atmosphere is warm, and the air is perfumed by the spices that grow around in the garden. A must visit!!
