This was my first visit to Wiesbaden, and subsequently Thai Banyan (found on TA). The restaurant was really nice inside, but be prepared to park in one of the nearby parking garages, as this restaurant doesnât have its own parking. The staff were pretty friendly. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer. Overall, they were pretty good, and they came out piping hot with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. For me, the spring rolls had a bit too much glass noodles, but still good. For the entree, I had the green curry chicken with vegetables (my go-to dish for comparing Thai restaurants). The curry was very good, but it seemed to be missing a little spice (perhaps salt or basil or more curry). The portion size was big and had plenty for dinner plus leftovers for lunch. Not the best green curry Iâve ever had (across Europe and the US), but pretty solid Thai food. Iâd recommend you try it. Iâd definitely go back.

My husband and I were staying at Town Hotel Wiesbaden, which is next door to Chookdee Thai. We decided to have lunch at this restaurant to give housekeeping a chance to clean our room. We had our dogs with us and they aren't necessarily restaurant trained, so it was great that we were back to eat outside.Both my husband and I, and our two dogs, really enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. I had crispy duck with green beans, cilantro, and garlic sauce, while my husband had chicken with peanut sauce and coconut milk, zinged up with red peppers. This was served with a large pot of rice.Service was very professional and friendly, prices were reasonable, and I saw so many choices that I would have loved to sample if only I'd had room in my stomach. We are moving to Wiesbaden, so I have a feeling we'll be back to this restaurant more than a few more times!Excellent!

We tried the Erawan Thai restaurant on a night in downtown Wiesbaden. Located on beautiful TaunusstraÃe, Erawan offers a large selection of traditional Thai and Asian dishes including a wide variety of vegetarian options. We had soup starters followed by the green chicken curry. Both were excellent choices. Erawan also has a large drinks menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Service was good especially as the restaurant was quite busy. Highly recommended!
