With the penchant for demolishing everything OLD with character and replacing them with ugly flat lined commercial or residential concrete towers, the city of Lahore has destroyed one of the most lush green and posh locality, Gulberg. I dont know why we are so greedy that we forget that we have to give this city to our younger generations too, but lets not get all politically emotional on a food review, right? Well, I adore the fact that EAST took up a 35 yr old solid house and instead of razing it to the ground, added color and flare to the once glorious mansion. (although it could have done better with a better seat arrangement as the main hall looks a bit cramped). It was personally a treat for me to visit a place which i have known for such a long time and enjoy it all primed and prepped although some of the nice features were withdrawn with redo. Now coming to the food, we went for the lunch/hi-tea buffet. The food selection was good. Beef was very well done and had a strong taste. Two fish entrees, sweet and sour fish and 1 fried fish were both very good. Mexican chicken was less spicy and more tomatoey which I dont like personally. Dhaka chicken was exceptional. The only issue was with the food temperature, it was cold. Every eatery can have a bad day, what makes a good one different is that they listen to their customers, upon my complaint within 5 minutes piping hot food was served which is all that was needed so no complaining about it.I wish i had more space in my body to enjoy the desserts which were excellent !! Every one of them ! Every dessert had just the right amount of sweet in them ! I mean the RIGHT amount, even the shahi tukra was not on sugar steroids. The best thing is what ur getting is worth the penny or not, definitely is. Its the cheapest hi tea/ lunch in the area and is very good for it.

We were a group of 16 people travelling and ended up having dinner here, Amazing Ambiance little over price , service is average as we ordered few extra chairs and our server got little upset and we could see he wanted us to leave after 11.30pm but there molten lava cake is a must try.We ended up with the 1000/ head which is reasonable provided we had dessert and drinks too.Their burgers are Ok, Chicken Asparagus is something I will try again, seafood is nice too.Desserts and Ambiance are what makes this place stand out!

Great spot for couples because of ambience, but food quality needs some improvement especially with the mains. Desserts like brownie in a skillet are spectacular and large enough to share between couples. The main food was so-so, not memorable or exceptionally tasty, so wouldnât come back here except for coffee or dessert probably.

Really loved the food.Veera 5 is one of those restaurants which is serving authentic Thai and Chinese Food. The best thing about this restaurant is that, there serving quantity is really amazing, and there prices are also very reasonable. Bamboo Union has really good food and fantastic service. The ambience is nice. My friends enjoy their Pat Thai and I do enjoy it, too. They are also able to change the menu a little for you to suit your palate. I would recommend this restaurant highly not just for the great food but for the wonderful service they provide each time I am there. After all why go to a restaurant if the service is poor.

there are only few good choices for chinese and thai food in lahore and this restaurant is one of them.. not a luxe atmosphere but serving the purpose efficiently.
