We tried to find a nice spot in the city for lunch but left 2 other establishments because of no service. Came across Vitti and immediately liked the ambience. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and very helpful to assist in compiling a vegan friendly lunch menu. We were keen to experience traditional Ticinese cuisine and thatâs exactly what we got! A gravel terrace shaded by large trees and a âboulesâ rink make for a simple yet welcoming setting.Whilst the children enjoyed pasta with tomato sauce, the four adults chose the suckling pig with polenta. You can tell a lot about a chef by his sauces, and the sauce on this dish had so much depth of flavour, it shows this is a man with a passion for food! Both Chef and his lovely wife came to our table to check we were happy and have a chat. It was a genuinely great meal and a wonderful evening. We highly recommend it!We sincerely thank you for what you wrote. We are very pleased that customers are fully satisfied. Right on the lake shore, sitting prettily in the lash greenery of Cantine di Gandria in the suburbs of Lugano. Charming and fascinating place where you can appreciate the nature and the landscape in the cool shadow of the canopied trees while savouring delicate local Merlot and delicious home made dishes. The owners, Elisabeth and Massimo Regazzoni are most welcoming and friendly, offering the bst of traditional local cuisine like minestrone, local sausages, meat and cheese, veal liver and tripes, roast with polenta, grilled meat, homemade cakes... Ottimi costini di maiale, da non perdere!

First, this restaurant is needlessly pretentious. Second, the two other guests at my table ordered the tasting menu. I did not like all the options on the tasting menu, so I told the waiter, that I would order the same amount of courses and if he could please pair wine as well. He agreed. That is not what happened. While I was the only female at the table, I was given one glass of wine and treated with an air of snotty contempt. The food was just ho hum. It was not creative. It was mathematical in its presentation. Safe but what you can get at a multitude of other restaurants. I will say that the view is wonderful. But for almost $700 for 3 people, save your money. It is totally not worth it. We took the walk along the lake to Gandria and came upon this little cafe by the lake that was the only one open on Boxing Day. To our delight we were warmly received and had a very pleasant lunch. The food was simple but well cooked and reasonably priced.

May 9I knew this resto would be a highlight. Our only Swiss lunch at a tiny locanda owned by Davide Crobe, originally from Sardinia, who has personally made his mark in a village overshadowed by Lugano. He stopped by to greet us.As we were the first diners, we could have any table including the few on the terrazza overlooking Lake Lugano, but rain threatened. The fresh persico fillets were outstanding while my wife had the ravioli. The food was delicious but the price was dear at 64E, but this locale seemed exceptional.

We Are frequent costumers of the Sassa main Restaurant and for a quick and healthy lunch after gym we decided to have an avocado salad with shrimps at the Bistrot. The service was very professional and the food was delicious! Itâs a great option for a casual and tasty moment
