As someone who particularly enjoys trying new things and different cafés around the world, I was particularly excited to come to this place (which has been the talk of the town for quite a while). The design is certainly on point and appears to be somewhat of a mixture between trendy European terraces and old-style Russian charm. The menu is also beautifully crafted and uses old Russian and many adjectives to make meals appear more appealing. Nevertheless, the meals themselves could still be improved. While the tea and dessert were practically perfect, the olivier salad lacked a bit of taste and the salad and tomatoes that came along with it were somewhat bitter. Another one of my problems was that, while my meal didn't take too long to arrive, my friend's took at least half an hour, if not more, to be served. While I understand that dishes prepared from scratch do take time, it would have been far more pleasant to be served at the same time rather than having me stare at my food for ages while I waited for the rest of our order to arrive (since I find it rude to begin eating when the other person hasn't). Nevertheless, the atmosphere was still fantastic and the staff were super attentive, which made for a wonderful experience overall. The brand new Volgograd restaurant with great service. We heard a lot of good reviews about these restaurants in Moscow and were surprised they opened here. The restaurant was quite full during the Christmas holidays and we decided to go later in January. Our expectations confirmed. This a mix of sea food and steak house restaurant with good atmosphere and high level of service. Great choice of dishes and wines. In restaurant work sommeliers and waiters who come to the table to offer wine and to help with decision on the menu choice. We ordered couple of steaks with grilled vegetables, calmary salads, cocktail and the mulled wine to get warm in the cold Stalingrad winter. In the end we recieved a bonus from the waiter - 4 tasty chocolates from local chocolatier. They were delicious as well. I can highly recommend this place for the dinner in Volgograd.

We had supper here today. Clean and modern interior. Opened kitchen. Very kind employees. Food were fresh and delicious. Grass tea was really great. They served tea first with berry jam. And salads and pickles. Loin steak was well cooked - slightly red inside. Mushroom pickles were not so sour, not so salty - great taste. Strawberry cream desert was good, too. Strawberrys were so fresh. Today is our anniversary day. We chose right place for dinner.

We enjoyed our meal at the Steak House Cafe. The wine was excellent and the food was very good. We both started off with the Russian raviolis (Vareniki) with mushrooms and potatoes were excellent and were a perfect starter. Our main courses were steaks which were also great, but we should have ordered a side dish as well. We had a bit of a problem finding it because there is a stand in front of the restaurant which blocks its view from the street. Our taxi went around and around looking for it. The staff spoke only Russian, but they were very helpful and gracious in helping us to choose our meal.
