I visited the Talpore restaurant on a busy Saturday night with my Grandaughter before going to the Showcase. Even though the restaurant was very busy we were greeted with a warm welcome. Ronnie our waitress was helpful and attentive, she had excellent knowledge of the menu and even came back to check our food was alright after it arrived. The food was cooked to perfection. We certainly will be returning

Impromptu afternoon out with my wife and decided to try this restaurant. Was well impressed with the decor as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff with a smile and a very polite young man served us.The restaurant certainly lived up to its name as a steakhouse. The meals were more than adequate and the steaks simply delicious and cooked exactly to out taste.I would have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant. If you want a nice meal with nice surroundings then go and give it a go.I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.Good Evening W16DJOThank you for taking the time to leave us such a fantastic review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your recent dinning experience with us and that you were impressed with our décor and atmosphere and that you enjoyed your steaks and found them to be simply delicious and cooked perfectly for you. Had heard a lot of good things about this place so we decided to give it a go. It’s a small place, smells of damp and we were shoved on a table at the back on the most uncomfortable benches which were half a foot higher than the chairs on the other side of the table. It was comical. Ordered the seafood combo (£25) and I’m pretty sure I could have got the same from Iceland and heated it in the oven. Breaded squid (soggy), three prawns and a couple of tiny scallops (they weren’t King as described on the menu). Kiev mac and cheese was greasy and flavourless and the coleslaw was just as drab. It wasn’t awful food, but for £25 you expect a lot more for your money. I also tried a homemade ‘lime and basil gin’ and it tasted of soapy dishwater. Won’t be coming back which is a shame.
