Nice environment, different from the typical places you go to, pleasant staff, timely serving of food and reasonably priced.Starters were served within fifteen minutes and the main's followed just over ten minutes after.The mixed grille was a fair size but far too dry and slightly overcooked. The accompanying salad was not at all appetising and if anything added to through dryness.Upon sitting down we noticed that our dishes were somewhat grimy but got them changed without a fuss.At the end of our meal when asking for the bill we were overcharged. However that was promptly corrected by the staff.All in all a nicer experience than most local places and a pleasant change from the norm.

The food here is quite something. Quality is very good indeed with a good and varied choice on the menu. As for value for money, it's by far the best Italian I've experienced so far for the high standard. The place is very neat and tidy and the staff welcoming and helpful. From what I ordered, a calzone, which must have been at least 14 - 15 inches long, I suspect you'll not be dissapointed in the size of the portions. How they cooked the wafer thin pizza enclosure I just don't know. We were given bread while waiting for the meal, again wafer thin and of some size with olives both black and green, gratis.

Having eaten Greek food for over 40 years Iâm often disappointed at UK Greek restaurants........... until now! The grill was exactly as in those real Greek tavernas, the ones with the old Greek men sat drinking with the old lady dressed in black working in the kitchen. I couldnât fault the food but couldnât understand why this taverna was not busy? Maybe because itâs not an extensive menu?Rest assured itâs worth a visit, or in my case another one!

Came here yesterday & we all had jacket potatoes with different fillings served with salad & coleslaw, tasty heartwarming & perfect on a cold day, service good & staff professional, only downside is the music choice wasnât good & is too loud so combined with full tables it allmakes for a rather noisy experience, great to see this place thriving though & we will return soon

Love this place when the owner and Jonny are working. Great atmosphere and amazing food. I had beef carpaccio followed by the special âKing Prawn SAN Lorenzoâ OMG this was a truly outstanding dish that found me mopping up the sauce with bread afterwards. Good wine list and reasonably priced.

I love Turkish food and have eaten at plenty of Turkish restaurants all over more so in London, but Meze Lounge's food tops all Turkish restaurants, the food is absolutely spot on, great service by friendly staff, great for all the family, as I'm vegetarian there is plenty for me to choose from. Great restaurant please don't change anything.

Visiting Stockton for work, we joined a couple of colleagues at the Taverna for some.dinner. The folks were happy to accommodate 2 extra diners though restaurant is not big at all. Traditional Greek menu and all the food was excellent. Had the meatballs which were delicious followed up by Kleftiko. We left knowing that we would be back again for more.Thanks

Returned to Cafe Sapore for a family celebration for 10 of us, which required that we ordered ahead of time. Food was (as always) tasty and well prepared, and service was pretty good, although I recall both food and service being better when with a smaller group. I suppose that's the same for most restaurants... We ordered many things and the ones that stuck out were: The antipasto: a selection of Italian cured meats, cheeses & pickled vegetables and the scallops for starters. The steak, the pork loin and the lamb for mains. Kids love the desserts. Very good.
