Good point: lasagne was superb, the meat tasted Good, they serve the kids first and fast which was a relief.Needs improvements: the food took 1 and a half hour before they served them, consume them only for twenty minutes because we only have the tables for two hours. We were 12 persons of 4 families, we Were in Koh Lipe for 3 nights and the other restaurants didnt have a problem taking orders by family for easier billing, But in cappriccio they refused to do so which resulted to stressful paying of the Bill. In short the staff were so stressed outThe food: nothing so special with the pizza, its 200% overpriced compared to the one you can get on the other places. The beef tartare which is the highlight of the day, was not very impressive, its was tasteless, in short overly priced for a little raw of meat, almost didnt consume half because it was gross. No trace of the white tryffel at all. They Were not so generous with the potato serve together with the 400g meat which cost 2400baht!!Overall the place is overly priced for its service and foodDear Sir.I'm sorry you were not happy about the your experience in Capriccio but in your review there are incorrect informationsOverpriced? IncorrectYou wait 12 minutes for the food served to the childrens, Our policy is to serve the children first, especially when there is a big table, as the Adult supposed to understand That: if you go in a small and good quality restaurant ( Information: we don't serve ready or pre-cook food but everything is cooked at the moment) with 12 people, it is possible you wait a bit more especially if everybody ordered different dishes and Courses.According to our POS System you wait another 10 minutes after serving the children to received the first dish.You wait more for the Fiorentina steak because need to rest 15 minutes before cooking out of the fridge, otherwise the thermic shock will cause to be hard, 12 minutes need for cook and another 10/12 minutes need to rest after cook, for give the time to the blood to redistribute on the meat, otherwise when you cut he will loose the juices and you will have a dry steak swimming in his on blood.2. Pizza overpriced 200% compare with other restaurant in Lipe? Incorrect.Pizza Diavola 320 Baht (8.5 Euro) regular price in restaurants in Italy and sure less expensive then in Italian restaurant in Sweden, same price of the other Italian restaurants in Lipe.And I thing we have very good price for Pizza if you consider that: Our Pizza is made 100% with Italian imported product, Flour, Tomatoes, Mozzarella (9o% fior di latte 10% buffalo) Extra-vergin Olive oli, salami.If you find a round pizza served to the table with 100 baht 2.8 Euro (according with your nonsense calculation 200% more expensive) I give you a free dinner for the rest of your holiday.3.No trace of Truffle in the Buffala cream, correct, but nothing wrong.As It is wrote in the menu, the buffalo mozzarella cream served with tartare is aromatised with truffle OIL as the fresh truffle is impossible to serve in Lipe because it has only few days of life.Was cut gross? Yes, because we use Quality Australian Angus beef cut with knife, as It's an offence to the good quality kitchen destroy the consistence of the meat if you minced it. You didn't like it? I'm sorry, but we insert in the menu of the day, after many customers make a compliments for this dish served in the valentine's day. Everybody have his own taste depend what you get use to eat and to which level.4. The Steak was 400 gr.? incorrectAs is wrote in the menù the beef served to you is 800 gr. You said the beef was good? Yes because its produced from Jack's Creek Australia, winner 5 years in the raw "the best word steak"Only few potatoes? is true. because together we serve also 2 more side dishes.5 We didn't separate the bill, our mistake.At the beginning if we took the order you asked to separate the bill: When you ask the bill to the other Lady she didn't know and after printing with POS we can not separate it any more. The lady come to your table ask sorry bring the calculator and help you to make the calculation.We refuse to do that? False, Usually we separate the bills when the guest ask, and the lady explained to you what happened.Stressed staff? PossibleAs was missing one person of the staff for personal reason, As was buddy day and we can not serve alcholl by bottle, the wonderful people serving at the tables was running a lot that for serve 120 people in the restaurant with only 35 seats and how you can see always with smile.Beside that, the Lady was serving you, come to your table to ask if everything was ok and the people seating with you said yes and not complain.The funny part is that: you said you get stressed for divide the bill by 4 families with calculator in the hand and you can not understand them? Near your table there was another table of 12 people, like yours. They wait the same time as you, when they go they said thanks, they make compliments for the food and they left 700 baht tips to the "stressed" staff. Different people, different behave.ConclusionYou wasn't nice from the beginning, probably you had a bad day.Sometime go in holiday with family and children can be stressful and I can understand, for sure our restaurant can be better in some parts especially when it is overfull.But you became member of trip advisor the night you ate in Capriccio, just for write this review, with incorrect and false informations.TA is a very good way to tell to other people your dinning experience and for restaurants owners to understand what is wrong and try to be better in the future and not for vent your stressful personal problems on the back of people who working 10 hours a day for give to you the best service and food they can.Hope your Holiday in Lipe is going good and will help you to relax.

First night after arrived at Koh Lipe had dinner in this restaurant- we had pho soup with beef and the other with chicken! It was really good and delicius! We didn’t try the steak but as picture showed looks very good. The place very clean- prices are middle category.
