It is located on the southwestern coast of San Cristóbal, the easternmost island in the archipelago, and is the capital of San Cristóbal Canton. It was founded by General Villamil Playas in the mid-19th century, and takes its name from President Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno (1859–1951). Today, fishing is the main activity of the locals, but tourism is on the increase along the waterfront with numerous hotels and shops.

Visited this restaurant 3 times. We were enticed by a young boy who was standing outside the restaurant trying to lure customers inside, so we went in (3 times). They have an upper floor overlooking the bay. The service was excellent and so wal every dish we ate. The pizza is cooked in a wood burning oven with thin crust and is was huge. I ordered a large and thought it was an extra large pizza. It almost filled the entire table when it arrived. Thanks David for your great service on all occasions.

We ate here as a family four, the mixed ceviche was good (it could have done with a little more seafood and a little less salad). The cocktails were good value during happy hour. The spaghetti with prawns was taste and they happily split the dish for the kids.

Great food, drinks and atmosphere! You must stop in at Rustica Urban Food and have a meal, drink and meet the friendly staff while enjoying your stay on the wonderful island of San Cristobal in the Galapagos Islands. We did not have breakfast provided at our hotel and we found that most places were not open early enough for people to get breakfast before going out on day tours. This was the only place opened, near the port, that served breakfast. The breakfast was great, they had everything from a full breakfast to a fast continental breakfast. Go here if you want to eat before going out on your day trips!

We are located in the heart of the town, with the best view! Best sunset view of the harbour, best happy hour spot (2x1), and best CEVICHE in town!

Service here was really good. We really enjoyed the food. The sunset was phenomenal! They have a nice wine list. It was a little expensive compared to other places, but probably worth it.

Came here in October 2017 with my boyfriend, both of us being vegan. There is a separate vegetarian menu (and likely most items are vegan). I loved the local feel to this place instead of a tourist trap. Pasta was decent and my boyfriend really liked his empanada.

Came here with our new friends from our dive trip. Great people. This place is delicious and the view is phenomenal. The owners are amazing cooks and super friendly. The food was delicious, we all enjoyed the fresh made bread and the fresh homemade hot sauce. The coffee was on point as well. Highly recommend this place. Thereâs hammocks here to enjoy your coffee read and listen to the ocean and relax. Smashed avocado on sourdough, fruit salad, raisin walnut toast with butter and jam, fried and scrambled eggs were all delicious.
