Our lunch at Locanda La Sementa was surely one of the best and most memorable meals we enjoyed in Italy! Not only were we served an amazing array of local delicacies, but the chef also managed to create a special senza glutine (gluten-free) plate for me that was both generous and delicious. Our wines were perfectly paired with our food, and the tasty dishes were distinct and varied. From the dining room, we could see out into the beautiful countryside and we were shown just where our food had come from. What an absolute delight!

Average food fish, we have ok startes and flled fish pasta that was not really tasting so much, not sure if food was frozen there. No wine list offered I would say that the good think was the dessert (millefoglie was very well done) a place that you will forget soon and not suggest.

We stumbled upon this restaurant shortly after it opened and had one of the most wonderful meals there. The dishes were refined versions of regional classics. Absolutely delicious seafood. The two Quattrociocchi brothers welcomed us like family and their gracious hospitality made this meal one we will always remember.

Hidden in a little side view in the Ferentino village on top of a hill, but every single person you ask knows where it is. Food is not only awesome, the rooms are gorgeous, vaulted ceilings, looks like a cave, no heating in winter but small heaters are spread around the different rooms. Menu is very interesting, mainly featuring local food and plates, ask for suggestions and try several appetizers, they are all worth. Plan more than one visit since you will not be able to try everything. Best wine to order Cesanese del Piglio, locally grown and known only to whose that have been in the area.

So, you are in this small town in Ciociaria region, in the middle of Frosinone countryside and you find a place like this, nice, cute and with a very very good food! Awesome!You can see since the beginning something different, the bottles of wine are very sophisticated Italian producers. Than the menu, good, wether meat or fish (another unexpected surprise) and of course with fantastic pasta dishes. The service was very warm. If you are around there, must go.

It's not often that you visit a restaurant with a large group and come away feeling that the service has been really personal and the food delicious. The owner, Paulo, greeted us all like long lost friends and then proceeded to serve up dish after dish of great antipasti - various hams and other meats, a kind of Italian bubble and squeak, plates of roasted peppers and salads and spelt with ham. The piece de la resistance though was the four desserts - tiramisu, crème caramel, et al - that were irresistibly yummy. The restaurant itself is quite tucked away on the via Duomo, with a cool interior and converted from an old stable. Alatri itself is worth a visit to walk along a small part of the Appian Way.
