Visited this restaurant, conveniently located in Bokhari Commercial area of DHA. This area has become a hub for nice upcoming food places. This was a fairly small place, on two floors offering smoking and non smoking area. We reached around 8.45 PM for dinner without a reservation, but got a table for 4. Ordered some sushi, papaya salad and beef tataki. Generally quality was good. For main we ordered crispy fish tacos, rice noodle bowl and steak. Tacos and noodle bowl were fine but steak was served a bit late and quality was nothing to rave about. Prices were also just ok, nit too cheap and not very high. Generally a reasonable place to visit for a casual meal.

Now biryani is one item that I am crazy about. I got to know that Biryani of the Seas is a famous place for Biryani and is successful for years, so I couldnât wait to give it a try. And I had one of most delicious Biryani at this restaurant and took one plate extra for take away to enjoy it at the hotel I was staying.

Very nice seafood, you can taste the freshness as the sea port is nearby. The ambiance is refreshing as you can feel the sea breeze, it is also quiet. The staff are friendly.

We have eaten at East End, three times so far - all within the period of a few months - and each time the experience has been excellent. During our last visit, we took our daughter and son in law, who were visiting from the US - their comments were very succinct and appropriate : "If ever a Pakistani restaurant could qualify for a Michelin star, this would be it!"Very rarely have I visited a restaurant which has simmered to perfection all the four essential ingredients which make up an ideal dining experience: quality, presentation, service and ambiance. We have tried many of the array of delectable dishes, all are stellar. The unique appetizers, refreshing juice drink shots and the amazing entrees are to die for! And just when you think you've had enough, they floor you with the most awesome mini desserts! If one died and went to Great Food Heaven - this would be it! BE WARNED: IT IS PRICEY AND THE FIVE-COURSE REGIME TAKES AROUND 1.5 TO 2 HOURS.

A visit to Karachi will be incomplete without having having food at Kolachi. An ambience to savour with waterfront views and a culinary fare simply royal. Hard to choose but all the chicken and mutton fare are exceptional. I would recommend the fluffy roti paratha to go with any of the gravy dishes. One suggestion, please make prior reservations as it is really crowded during weekends. Service is brilliant.
