Finally have opportunity to lunch here. Ordered the famous grilled patin fish in bamboo. Generously coated with bumbu kuning, wrapped in banana leaf, placed inside bamboo and grilled. Smokey aroma but bumbu kuning somehow lack of spices. The fish was also rather small so the meat lost its texture.

We arrived at Dulang after a wet and rainy morning at Taman Safari Indonesia. From the outside, it looked like a pricey place. But to our surprise, the pricing for the food was very reasonable. As you enter the restaurant, it gives you a very relaxed, ethnic vibe. Lots of beautiful plants, a pond, and the sound of the waterfall and river gushing. You can choose to sit at the pavilion (you'll be sitting on a mat), or you can choose to sit where they have tables and chairs. We sat at the pavilion (of course!) and looked through the menu. With the help of Google, we figured out what we wanted and went with Nasi Liwet and Sup Buntut (see picture.) And our friends got Nasi Timbel and the egg-wrapped rice. Our meals were beautifully presented and taste equally satisfying. The soup was slightly salty, but if you have it with rice, it's perfect. Meat was nice and tender. The rice set was nice. The husband was very satisfied. :) After our very enjoyable meal, we wanted to pay the bill. Since the restaurant area is quite huge, they cleverly made a giant chime/buzzer using bamboo and a stick. Give it a good knock and the waiter will come right away.We walked around the grounds and took some photos near the river. There are also swings and some playground amenities. Kids will love it. (we sure did!) We left Dulang with a happy stomach and an even happier heart. Recommended.

A very nice local cuisine restaurant. Good environment, good selection of food and we enjoyed the food overall. Food was also packed nicely. Will come back and order for the seafood menu.

Puncak is somewhat attractive, sometimes packed, a lot of time quietAn Idea of eating hot nasi uduk with fresh fried chicken and sambal is very nice, isn't itIf the restaurant in the steady capacity of customer, I believe supposedly to be very good in qualityBut, apparently it is quite hard to manage to surviveThe taste somewhat is average just like Mas Miskun here in JakartaThe nice thing is on the road that usually jammed, when you hit the road at the closing time from Puncak to Jakarta,So it can be a place to stop, rest and dine for a while

saya ngadain acara keluarga disini. ada beberapa opsi untuk duduk, mulai dari lesehan, duduk atau ruang vip. saya memilih ruang vip dengan kapasitas 40-50 orang.pilihan menu saya ada ikan bakar? okan asam manis, sop sayur, bihun goreng, toge cah dan cah kangkung. ikan bakar dan ikan asam manis lumayan enak. cah toge, cah kangkung. hanya ruang vip nya kurang dingin meski ber ac. parkirnya lumayan terbatas. ada mini play ground juga buat anak anak

We were here for breakfast and dinner. 5 times in total. As far as I remember, what we ordered:- French fries- Fried chicken- Special fried rice - Barbeque chicken (great taste but expecting bigger portion)- Fried tofu- Fried soybean- Fried sausage- Vegetable soups- Lemon tea- Ice tea- Coffee (too aqueous) - Sexy blue ice- Sandwich (moderate)- Chicken satay- D'orange- Timbel rice- Lemon grass- Numerous juices (not fresh, unexceptional)In a nutshell, in lieu to they were all ordinary taste except a few dishes I am keen to recommend: Oxtail soup, Chicken satay, Timbel rice, Barbeque chicken. Moreover, surprisingly, the service was a bit slow, considering they were serving only around 15 people when we were there. 2nd floor view of this restaurant is better. If you wanna feel natural ambience then take the outdoor space. Quite cold at night, therefore mind your jacket when having a dinner.
