Nice range of beers in busy bar. However, the food was pretty abysmal. Microwaved burger melted in gooey mess served in cardboard container. No pickles nothing couldn't even open the bun as it was all glued together. Even though menu states all freshly made - what a joke!

You can order individual pizza's for 6-8 euros, depending on toppings. The quality and taste of the pizza is very, very good. Someone's review mentioned they didn't like the fact that the pizza was served on plastic trays/plates. This is not a fine dinning restaurant, it's pizza, beer and wine. The total cost for 2 pizza's, a liter of house wine and a bottle of water was 20.50 euros. You can probably find a little better pizza in town, but for the quality and price, this place would really be hard to beat.

Da oltre 50 anni il caffè Oriente offre delizie locali preparate con maestria in un ambiente familiare semplice e cordiale. Se passate da San Cesario di Lecce fate due passi in più... E ad un minuto dalla piazza principale entrate al caffè Oriente.Un ambiente forse meno luccicante delle più blasonate pasticcerie di piazza... Ma qui si bada più alla sostanza che non alla forma..La Signora Paola vi accoglie sempre con un sorriso e il bancone parla da solo... I genitori della Signora Paola tengono saldamente la barra dell' annesso laboratorio di pasticceria.I rustici sono spettacolari, ed i famosi pasticciotti trovano la loro casa nel rispetto della tradizione... E in qualche piccola innovazione di gusto davvero molto apprezzabile.Ampia scelta di dolci e salati tutti rigorosamente appena fatti... A kilometro zerissimo... E sempre un servizio semplice e senza fronzoli.Una perla da scoprire... E dopo 50 anni sarebbe ora !!

What a great Pub in the old city of Lecce, wonderfully laid out with a great selection of beers. Snacks available and are very good along with a huge amount of peanuts. Staff are very friendly and at tentative worth a visit,
