I ate lunch here at least 7 times during my stay in Lecce. The food is amazing-- delicious and diverse offerings, for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I particularly loved all dishes with eggplant--eggplant with pasta, eggplant parmigiana are two noteworthy offerings. The eggplant entree and a contorni (vegetable, for example, chicoria), cost 5 €. And the people who work here are marvelous!

We just spent 3 weeks in Italy and dined at a number of mid and high range restaurants each night and most days for lunch. My husband and I rate this restaurant as our number one choice for a number of reasons:- the host/waiter's (Giovanni) service was impeccable, the bread was all freshly made and delicious. We opted for the a la carte menu and each dish was fantastic. The price was very, very reasonable. We also had a great Puglian red Primitivo wine, very good and very reasonably price. Only 6 tables. You can see the creativity and care that goes into the food. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor and were very disappointed. The only good thing was the wine and bread. The pasta was so bad it could not be eaten. The waiter was helpful and friendly, shame about the food. The food should have been better as we were the only customers in the restaurant!

We visited here two times during our stay in Lecce. We were lucky enough to find a table outside where we enjoyed a beer while my husband went in to order the pizza. All credit to the guys inside who told us that a full pizza would be too big for two persons....they were totally right! They produced our perfect pizza and the proportions were exactly right. Great food, cold beer and an honest approach to customer service. Thank you!Ciao Cat, our work involves passion and this passion guides us in trying to make those who come to see us feel good, being honest is an essential prerogative if we want to try to be always better, we are happy you found yourself well, we hope that in your next trip in Lecce you want to come back again to see us, because as they say, there is no two without three. GOOD LIFE.

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and another couple as be got a Coupon from Groupon web site. The locationi is nice and quite small....I know that size doesn't matter but in this case they do!!...especially when they play Karaoke....the music is too loud, annoying and boring. Talking about the food...well, besides the starter, which was extra extra salted, they gave as a small menu with a very limited selection of pizzas (accurately compiled for those who come with a coupon)....the pizza itself was good but nothing special...no choice for the sweet, they gave us a piece of coconut cake. My opinion? If they gave a coupon for free, I wouldn't go there again anyway.

What a great evening we had there!!! The best dinner after a few weeks travelling. We went to this place recommended by the B&B we were staying at (Casita Romina), and were not disappointed at all. Great service, great food, local authentic ambiance, fair prices. We spent at least two hours there and were delighted by the hospitality of the staff. We ordered a main course each (sea food mix 13€ and lobster pasta €12), plenty of wine of the house (750mL - 5€) and homemade dessert. Everything delicious! Our final bill, including covert (€1.5 pp) and water (1€) was 29€. I definitely don't agree with changing for covert (a few bread slices) and water (tap water!? ), but it seems that's what all restaurants do in Italy, and it won't spoil one of the best evening I had in our Balkans trip. We were definitely the only "gringos" on a Saturday night at this restaurant, being all others Italians.

In Lecce for business for 2 days. Invited to this restaurant with a party of 8 from mixed nationalities. I have been numerous times in Italy and have been taken to many good places but this was by far my best experience. We started with a vast choice of dishes with cooked, smoked, grilled and raw fish. Our main was Sea-bass in salt crust and had again a vast choice of deserts. Divine...I would go back any time!!

We entered the restaurant, starving, about half an hour before they were scheduled to open. Instead of telling us to wait for normal business hours, the owner welcomed us, seated us and gave us free appetizers to tide us over until the staff arrived! What hospitality! The food was all wonderful! We had scampi, two ways, seafood pasta and antipasti.
