Run by the Da Cunha Family.
Fun ambiance and service superb. That doesnât make up for fact fish was rubbery and not properly cooked. Seasoning was uneventful. Hoped for more peri peri taste although they had sauce in table. Not the same as grilled with sauce. Liver starter excellent. Also excellent security getting in and out from street. Sketchy neighborhood way off the grid. Take taxi not safe.

Our extensive seafood menu offers a variety of fish and prawn dishes, all cooked to perfection in our secret fish spice or a range of sauces. For those looking for something a little meatier, you have the option of succulent steaks done in a style of your
Our food took forever to come, when it eventually came the prawns was over cooked and the chicken under cooked. The Manager is not much of help, we were told that he will go and check on the food and it took another 20min and he never came back and asked if everything is oky. When the food came I asked for the bill and the bill only came when everyone was done eating, I had to stand up and go to someone so that we could pay. Really disappointed. Hi NicoleyG, So sorry to hear this. This is not how we like to operate. Please, will you send me your contact details so that I can get in touch with you with regards to your trip to Mozambik? Had dinner at Mozambik last night. Having been subjected to the heat of a Johannesburg summer heatwave all day it was very pleasant to sit on the outdoor balcony sipping a gin and tonic as temperatures gradually cooled. The extensive menu has something for everybody and we enjoyed the rissoles as a starter. Available in chicken, prawn or spinach and feta the crisply fried rissoles were well enjoyed. We followed these with calamari in a lemon and herb butter sauce and I can honestly say that the beautifully tender pieces of calamari were some of the best I have ever eaten and the sauce was equally delicious. Only the fact that I felt very full stopped me from asking for some bread to mop up the remaining sauce. We will definitely return.Hi Gillian D,Thank you so much for this amazing review! It made me hungry reading it! But we are so grateful for this platform and being able to hear about our customers experiences when they visit our stores as this allows me to pass this back onto the store, and i know from the above that they are going to be thrilled. We cannot wait to have you visit us again soon!

Very pleased I stopped by here for a casual supper whilst staying at the hotel. The service was great - friendly and efficient. I ordered a steak, which was served, cooked as requested in next to no time. Well worth a visit if at the casino!

This restaurant has very nice decor and its menu complements it.The food was very tasty. The prawns, calamari, and chicken were prepared Portuguese style and all were excellent choices. The vegetables and King Clip also did not disappoint. The service good and food arrived warm. It was kept in a burner.Itâs a nice visit.4.4/5
