Green and Gold is not just an average sports bar. They have several big screen HD TV's for watching the game/s and their menu will cater for every taste bud. It's not just an average bar menu and adds elements of steakhouse/grill too. The service can take a bit longer when it's busy, which they often are. This place is popular and well supported.

A group of us were attracted by the live jazz and we were not disappointed. It was exceptional, with the 3 young, talented musicians enthralling us for a few hours. We will definitely be back for more. The service needs some improvement, because we kept having to call the manager to order. Different waitrons served us as well, so we were not quite sure who our dedicated waitron was. The atmosphere is great and our party of 8 were just about the last to leave before they closed. The food was good and tasty. We will definitely be back for more!

The Hogshead is a very popular Pub and Restaurant I the Westrand. We stopped there on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. The service is out of the top drawer and the food excellent. We both had Eisbeins and were the best I've ever had. The atmosphere and setting is also very good. Highly Recommended !Thanks Hendrix2015 for the great review. Passing through Krugersdorp and Lunchtime - The Westwood is a typical small shopping mall Bar and restaurant that is not pretending to be anything other than a neighborhood venue. I was greeted and shown a table table quickly. Menu arrive, ordered a beer which arrived just as quickly - ice cold. Medium Rare Sirloin, Egg and chips ordered and it was very good. Recommend for good value straightforward fare.

What a nice treat at Melvilleâs 27 Boxes.The Countess is certainly a big draw card in this center.With an extensive list of artisanal drinks, as well as interesting bistro type dishes, there truly is a delicious morsel for everyone.The plating and presentation is very creative and feels easy and relaxed. Amid this quirky cool space, have a small bite or a share board with interesting people.

Overall an okay/pleasant venue for a kids party. Lots of activities for the kids. Jumping castles, pony ride, âtrainâ ride, plus lots of other rides. Some craft activities and face painting for kids, but staff very unfriendly, and the face painter is terrible. The jungle gyms and swings stand in the blazing sun, more shade netting is required. We attended a kids party, from 10am to 1pm, the pony did not stop once for a break. I wonder if management are even aware of this, or even care. They probably donât care as I saw no management at all.

Founders grill have a very nice ambience. The decor of a suit the place. The staff is friendly and the staff is friendly. The food is very nice and tasty. We had a started as well as the main meal. The prawns and the calamari was very nice and soft. The meat was tender and tasty. A little bit pricey but overall we enjoyed the experience.

This old dame never disappoints. There is certainly a reason they have been around for so long. Maintaining the charm of a 60s/70s steakhouse. The waiting staff to management radiate old school warm, family hospitality. The food is certainly better than most fancy, trendy steakhouses in JHB. Their ribs are the star of the show. Ribs you will be craving soon after your 1st visit. Even their side dishes are pure comfort. If you feel like a starter before the gigantic rib portion, the prawn cocktail took me on a stroll down memory lane. Simple but delicious. The desserts will ring a few bells too! Will be back again and again. Saul, our waiter, was a gem. Donât know why all restaurants cannot maintain this kind of service and passion amongst staff. Winning formula.

This restaurant has become an institution in Krugersdorp. It has a fabulously convenient location with ample parking, and plenty of seating in a combination of outdoors, indoors and even an upstairs section. The decor is almost odd, but oddly fitting, even in Krugersdorp.The staff made a plan to seat my companion and I even though they were fully booked and obviously busy. This did not compromise either the quality of the food not the service, so we were both impressed and grateful. Well Done guys.
