First night on the island, we were recommended here. After traveling for the last 4 months, we wanted some "comfort food" to ordered a pizza. BEST PIZZA we have had in years! Better than anything back home!Went back and ordered several seafood meals (over two visits). While we were not all that keen on the "fried fish," the "mar y tierra" was absolutely fantastic.

We stopped here a couple of times after long days on excellent tours with Easter Island Travel and one day after walking up and down Terevaka. One of these guys makes an excellent lemonade with fresh herbs (maybe mint?) and it was so perfectly refreshing, along with sitting with a fantastic view, we were happy! One of the other guys was so kind to write down the names of some of the local musicians that they were playing while we were there. I just mentioned that I liked the song and that if he had time, I'd like to know who it is. Before we left, he wrote down a whole list for me. This is a relaxed place but a great place to go for drinks, to sit and stare at the waves, to cool off, and to get a snack. Like I said, we went a couple of times and we were happy both times.

Since we had a late lunch, we were looking for something simple for dinner. Pizza to the rescue! After shopping main street, we stopped here for takeout. Variety of toppings. Tasted delicious, enjoyed on the terrace of our cabana at Christopheâs with a bottle of Carmen cabernet sauvignon and the sun setting. By the way, LATAM allows wine to be carried on board. We brought ours to Easter Island since weâd been visiting wineries in Chile and Argentina.

I had my daily buffet breakfast at this restaurant during my stay at the Hangaroa EcoVillage and Spa. I also ate lunch here twice.The buffet breakfast in the Poerava Restaurant was a great way to start the day. Along with fresh fruit, cold cuts, and cereal, there are hot items. There is also an egg station for how you want your eggs prepared.For lunch, I had a chicken entree the first time and for the second time, I had a sashimi appetizer and a tuna entree. I was very satisfied with both meals.The service was friendly and efficient. The staff understood and spoke English. The view of the ocean from the restaurant is quite scenic.
